The jerking is the outer tire of the turn skidding to try to catch up with the inner tire. 4 wheel drive locks up the front axle so the two wheels turn together but the outer tire has to travel more distance to catch up. Think running track at the olympics.
It only happens on dry pavement or...
You can rent or buy a landscape/ utility trailer rated at 7000 pounds, two axles. The mesh ramp of those trailers need a couple of 2x12’s to keep the wheels from stretching the mesh.
When my kids were in college I rescued a few cars this way.
So seriously why do we need sensors in the first place? Check the tires and pressures regularly and have a nice day. Sensors don’t prevent anything they just tell you what happened.
A sensor won’t prevent a blowout like when I hit a granite curb in my wife’s car but as the car swerved to...
I don’t even bother with electrical tape.
Driving almost to NYC having a nice morning the light went on. Odd, the tires are warmer. I wouldn’t have freaked out if I wasn’t in the middle of five lanes of traffic and no shoulder approaching the bridge at 70 mph.
Nothing happened but it’s a...
Ya Heritage.
My daughter has two dogs, three horses in the barn and the big garage with her Tundra and a couple other vehicles. Mice were rampant until she got her barn cat. “Pineapple” is happy and almost domestic. Sleeps in the walk out part of the basement in the cold weather.
WIN WIN !
As a comparison , my 2015 5.7 with 68k got 18.1 on a round trip from Htfd to boston Logan airport, out and back maybe 5 miles town driving to pick the guy up. 500 extra pounds of toolbox, etc. 210 miles.
Did it the old fashioned way, fill it, drive it, fill it and do the math.
I think those...
That old and the gasket could be leaking. Like I wrote above, get an OEM ga$ cap, I was told by my shop there is something different/ better about the OEM.
If it’s black you may be thinking of Wool Wax. I have both and WW is gunkier and may stay on the truck longer than FF.
A few spray cans of FF before the trip and a trip or two to the car wash or a home pressure washer after will get rid of most of it. The label says using a pressure washer with...
In our old Saab 900 there was a bunch of switches on the dash and by just dumb luck I came across, probably in a toy store, a switch that exactly matched the other switches in the car and it was marked “eject.”
So I stuck it on and we told the kids if they weren’t good we would flip the...
^^^ Our old Saab 900’s had sunroof leaks when the drains clogged, one got kinked. Backing out of our old condo driveway with a sharpish turn dumped a cup of water on my wife’s neck. She was not pleased.
This stuff has saved my butt many times. It’s a lube plus it cools the metal so it contracts a bit. Not sure how to pull the part out. If you were twisting the part is probably jammed in there.
