The SSR's work nice in the snow but the sidewalls are very easy to slice.

    Tire considerations?

I have run 35 x 15 x 15 swampers in deep snow over 4' and the traction was great and unill in got slushy bearly spun a tire. I have run 36" SX's did okay in the snow but at the Hammers nothing grabbed better (before Iroc's). I run BFG AT on the F350 nice street tire and playing on hard pack line...

    Tire considerations?

Well to through a different tire in, have you looked much at the Pit Bull Rockers, I have heard a lot of good things about them. I have run the SX and they last a long time and the side walls are the strongest I have seen. Have heard a few complain about the IROC's that they seam to wear out a...

    Blotch rig GONE!

I think you should stretch it, not much more work than you are currently doing and well within your abilities. The extra room is also nice if anyone is riding with you, like a out of town friend, also all loaded up everything is lower (less tipsy) and you can see out the back. As for the top you...

    4L60E up for sale!

Personally I like the stick and if money wasn't a issue Jack is right a NV 4500 would be sweet. Have you thought about streching the 40, with the flat side panels it is fairly easy and you would like the extra space. The one thing you are going to not like as compaired to the 62 is the wheelbase...

    Hi Landers Poker Run

Thought I would post this again this year. It is June 20th, it starts out at Loon Lake and goes to Ellis Creek and then comes down Wentworth and back to camp. It is a nice poker run, well set up, nice raffle and good food for the dinner. If you have kids they all have fun and any kid gets a grab...

Found a bobbed FJ55 whatcha think?

The wireing is easy buy a aftermarket kit ($200 to 400 depending where you get it) takes about a weekend, no computer to mess with. Glass is simple all flat, any glass shop can do it and it shouldn't be to much. Interior can get expensive just depends what you want.
