Just finished futzing with it for the first time since I posted (I have a company truck), I think I have a fusible link issue as I only get ~5.5V at the connector for the starter relay so I need to order one and have the OEM starter relay bypassed with a Bosch style relay taking power directly...
Most SCR systems have the Urea injected into the exhaust system pretty far downstream of the engine and depending on the application downstream of the oxidation catalyst and DPF unit as well so I would go with that someone put the urea in a spot it was not supposed to go.
If my park/neutral switch was the issue my thinking was that the 12/24 voltage converter would not be getting a signal either but I can hear/feel it move and get 24v at the starter when the ignition is in the "start" position?
I am having a little no start issue myself and it seems like there are a couple of knowledgable guys posting on here, 1990 HDJ-81 and pretty similar issue except I get ~24V at the starter from the 12/24v solenoid with the ignition in the "start" position but no power coming from the starter...
It is rather strange that I stumbled across this as this is a trip I had thought about for a while but I was planning on going with only a single vehicle and going a different way, IE bringing a quad or two to scout ahead or optionally leave the vehicle and make it as far as we could on the...
Spindles are the same length, wheel hubs mounted on the spindles have the same bearing spacing, drive flanges are different thicknesses between the two lengths of birfs.

Not too tough assuming the winch came with all the bits n pieces, I have the EWD's and a factory installed winch on my HDJ-81 if you need a hand...
You are likely going to need to get a Alberta OOP (Out Of Province) inspection anyways, probably easier to get the work done at the shop that does the OOP.
How much of the original wiring harness and wiring/switches did you use? You do know that there is a thermal switch in the winch which disconnects the power from the battery when the winch is too hot via magnetic switch #1 that was originally installed under the left side battery and that the...
As someone who actually owns a 80 series with both 37" tyres and factory e-lockers (and a mini truck with factory e-lockers and 39.5's) lets make this short and sweet:
You are an idiot.
Not to mention you lack reading comprehension, from the thread you linked to:
It sure sucks that there is not a multitude of tyres in sizes that are ~35" tall and 10.5" wide like a 285-75-18 or close to those dimensions like a 9.00x16...
Backing plate, rotor and axle to caliper mounting bracket. Calipers are the same, park brake shoes are the same. Might want to contact the OP in this thread to see if he ever did the small to large rotor swap and if he has parts...
The ubiquitous DOT 3AL cylinder is used for more than just CO2, many manufacturers also manufacture them in 2015 and 2216psi service pressure models for usuage with N2/Ar/He/O2 etc.
The US market 80 series did not have a locking front & rear diff option in 90-92 models but in other parts of the world front and rear lockers along with a rear full floater axle with disc brakes were available.
While a 4.10 Low Pinion E-Locker out of the rear of a 4Runner/Tacoma etc. will bolt into the 80 series front axle the tie rod and the low pinion third will be occupying the same space.
Nice title, glad to see what your contribution is.
Not my rig, the owner reported any vibration issues going away after he replaced the dented stock CV shaft with a dent free one with new u-joints.
