For me, one of the things that I don't really need is AWD, I wish it was part time 4wd, it's on paved roads 90% in a mild PNW climate. It puts a bit more wear and tear on the components but it's not a huge deterrent to where I wouldn't buy another LC because it's AWD.
As others have mentioned...
don't think that are many options for that kind of money out there, especially with someone doing the fab/installation. when I had my 80, I just excepted the fact it was somewhat underpowered by the modern standards and tried to enjoy the ride, not being in a huge hurry to there and back...
I am doing 5K mile oil changes with kendal synthetic blend, came across a deal that I couldn't pass, oil came in a 15gal barrel so dispensing is not that easy but for the price, I am willing to deal with a few inconveniences
