    FJ40 Visor, aftermarket or homemade

Dismemberment I thought all about the dismemberment thing through. I would decapitate myself on my roll bar first before I even got to the visor. I actually almost knocked myself out once on a slippery road. I slid sideways and the vehicle caught on dry ground my head got thrown against the...

    FJ40 Visor, aftermarket or homemade

Thanks so much for your help. It may take a couple of tries but I will go with what Heirloom says, unless I can buy one that is lexan and I can bolt it in without looking like crap. It may take a couple of tries but it will be worth it. I will go to ICON's site and watch the video that they...

    Steering arm swap question

I am sure it would after researching it. The question is would it really matter in a Land Cruiser or not? Most of the things I read after searching for it on Google were for racing cars etc. I wonder how much it would make a difference, anyone know? Mitch

I searched the faq and used google to try to find an answer to this question but could not find anything so I e-mailed Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters about swapping the steering arms R to L and vise versa. His response to my e-mail is below. Without bothering him too much I was wondering what...

With a 16 inch rim can you do 4 inch backspacing on a 77 fj40?

I have a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's that are 285/75R16. I got them for a steal with 14/32nds on them. I just thought that if the rim is a little bigger that it might miss the tie rod arm more. I guess not though, I do have a 1/4 inch spacer I can run. Any one else chime in on this. I know I...

I did some more research and I guess 4 inch backspacing may work with 16 inch rims, I have a spacer but it is small like 1/4 inch or so. I don't want to order any unless I find out for sure they will miss the tie rod arms. Thanks
