    fwiw: i have seen a few bent springs but never a broken one because of drilling.

    looks like you just need to lose the lift springs and get yourself a spring over with some good used 40 springs. :D :D no need to half ass it and regret it later. everyone i know that ran lift springs and tried to get them to work went spring over in the end and loved it, including myself...

    if the rear ride is made "cush" from longer springers and a better shackle angle letting the springs work. how is this replicated on the front? arent 55 fronts the same length as a 40 but centered? this is a serious question, Im trying to play nice :D :D
