I bought the Colorado 400t this spring, and used it extensively this summer. Good interface, good sat lock, easy communication with any of the mapping software I use. This unit employs the toggle wheel interface, so no touchscreen. Some people in my field have questioned the durability of the...

Cool, thats exactly what I was after, When i pull trailer, I often end up w/ to much angle, and thus drag the rear end. Again, great pics, have you ever explored the old opal mines out east of Bend? Dont remember whta road or mtn range they are in, but worth the trip.

If the truck is in decent shape, 900 miles is nothing. Make sure the basics, as covered above, are addressed. Also, it can depend a bit on where you are traveling this fall. 900 miles north from MN is a bit different than 900 miles south.

Mine will not run smoothly w/ the choke all out, dont believe it is supposed to. I choke, pump 2x, fire and within 5 seconds, set choke to <50%. If it is cold out, i will run with it at 50% for a couple min.
Good luck!
Just as a precaution, i'd check torque on the u bolt nuts.
And as fer a load damaging the spring pack, it would either have to be obscenely heavy, or be there for a really long time
Cheers

I replaced the cross bar in my BJ after it rusted out w/ a section of square tubing with small plates on each end. Grind the old rusted tube off of the frame, get a good measurement, and build a new cross piece. You will have to mount the shock mount pins to the new bar. Pretty simple, and...
