I go up there all the time. I can't this weekend, but next time for sure. I can show you some great areas to 4X.

OME 3" heavy duty lift springs

I went HD front and rear. The ride is stiffer and feels more like a 4x4. Plus the lift looks like a 6inch pro-comp. I love it! No bumper yet, but winch soon to come.

    TRD??? is it worth it?

I'd have to say that the options are nice and my non-TRD has everthing the TRDSE has (except i have nicer 17's and bigger tires). But for 7K less you could have the same rig with a white roof.

6 speed vs Auto - What's the real difference?

The real difference is "control." I like to control the vehicle, not to mention coming down steep hills in dirt, mud or snow. The 6 speed has a much lower crawl ratio. Good Luck!

    Sleeping in FJ Cruiser

When my dad brother and i would go on fishing or hunting trips, one or two of us would often sleep in the back of our FJ40 and leave the door open. Granted we are mountain men, the wildlife never bothered us much. I imagine i will do the same thing now with my FJC. Sleeping bags optional of...

    Want fries with that

Actually, it was sort of amusing. I thought today I would just be able to order a happy meal from the glove box, and that maybe the guys at Hamer accidently installed a burger and fry machine under the hood, but no such luck. It does give me a new invention idea though.

    Want fries with that

I was washing my FJC today and popped the hood to do some final touches and noticed a burger bun and fries were spilled in the engine compartment. Obviously it was the dealer's prep work, since I haven't had the FJC in for a service since bought it. I can't wait to take it back and slam the...

    Safety Hazard

Well the FJ finally got me. If no one knows of this, be careful!!! I was washing my FJ and I grabbed the roof rack for support while I climbed off the running boards and ripped the skin off my finger. The plastic plugs that are in the roof rack are razor sharp and sliced right into my...

Thanks for the reply. Was there demos, information, free stuff, giveaways? Is it worth checking out and the gas money to drive up there?

SOCAL: FJC Trail Team at Mtn. High 3/17/06

I heard the FJC Trail Team will be at a local resort this weekend. Anyone know if this event is worth going to? I heard there will be activities and stuff, but I would like to do some wheelin' with them and don't know if there will be a trail run. Anyone have any input? Thanks!

    Rusted Frames

The FJC has special steel and coatings that help reduce the formation of rust. I dont think other FJs have this tehnology.

    FJ Cruiser or Tundra

The Heck with it, get both! Then you can tow your FJC with your Tundra. I may do this at the end of the year.

Thinking about purchasing a new FJ

I have the 6spd man. 4x4 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I drive a lot in the snow and dirt and what a great vehicle. Have a 5spd 4x4 Taco and they are totally different, but the FJ is hands-down a winner. At first the milage was around 16mpg with the bigger 285 BFG AT KO's but now i am getting just...
