Nice write-up of your process -- thanks for sharing. I'm really happy with the dark (ebony) carpet as well. Good insight on the mass backing too. I also changed my tired/stained speaker covers to a black fabric and it hits nice with the dark carpet too.
I ordered Lseat at the end of 2018 but then left them in my garage for 3 years since I had a teen driving the truck. Finally installed them last October. The vinyl on the sides failed immediately. Not sure what the story is but a huge disappointment. Lseat never responded to me. It basically...
I’m also finding, overall, the vline2 is great. Still not happy with the CarPlay phone calls. I sound quiet/distant to callers. But if I crank up the mic gain, it gets distorted. Any find the right gain and/or try a new mic??
I had mine repaired under this TSB. I have the post linked below. They put in a reman'd trans. Sorry to see you got hit with tis too.

I just bought some from Mr. Lou's as well. They are in town so I picked them up and the guy working at the desk even offered to install them for me! Good company --
We also have the softride hitch mount. It has two positions to angle it away from the truck to access the cargo area. It's a bit of a pain for goofy kid bike frames but there's always a way to lash the bike on somehow.
This is what I did for years on my 80 series (pumping until the shaft moves) and what I did about 2-months ago on our 100. It does fix the driveline clunk for a while (if you have it) -- mine just came back about a week ago.
It seems like if you turn the key in the ignition holding closer to the key/shell interface that it doesn't put as much stress on the shell. If I hold it closer to the "top" of the shell -- away from the key -- as I turn on the truck, I can feel the shell torqueing more.
Anyone notice the same?
