    Fuel to carb

Jim, I hope what I'm hearing is no head removal. Is removing the soft plug doable with out removing the head?

    Fuel to carb

Leaking oil Ok so I have run engine for 20 min with breakin oil @ 2000 rpm, yesterday. Everything looked and sounded good. Let cool and changed oil. Went out this morning to set timing. Started engine and started right up. seemed alittle rough but really not that bad. Went around to connect...

    Fuel to carb

I'll check it after I get a new power steering hose made. I didn't like the way it was routed anyway. Be cooler in the morning instead of 102 right now. :(

    Fuel to carb

OK I finally got to the point of starting my rebuilt 2f. Filled the carb with gas manually. Engine started right up, but then died as soon as the bowl emptied. Did this at least two more times with the same result. Disconnected the fuel inlet and verified the pump is working, and it pumps very...

    76 2f oil cooler

My thought was to just keep everything the same. Everything was purchased already to plumb it back in anyway. I've already ordered the replacement . I've been working on it when I can the past couple of years, so I can wait one more week.

    76 2f oil cooler

Help! was getting ready to start my rebuilt motor, filled with coolant last night, looked fine. Discovered a pin hole leak on the oil cooler. Anyone ever repaired one, or just replace? If replace, does anyone have one for sale.

    Ported carb for vacuum advance

I've been working on getting it going the past couple of years. Freshly rebuilt 2f installed. If I remember, it's on ok fit. I raised it up enough to get a good insert into the air cleaner. It was secure enough just attached to the valve cover, but it is the next thing I will be installing.

    Ported carb for vacuum advance

Not a weber adapter. It's an adapter I made so I could use a F motor carb with the 2f motor I had. Raises it up so I can use the 2f air clearner. Using it like this maybe ten years or so.

    Ported carb for vacuum advance

I'm installing my ported carb, and I notice there are 2 tubes on the passenger side of carb and one at the base on the driver side. It looks i should attach the distributor to the lower tube on the passenger side. My question is what are the other ones for? Can they just be plugged?
