i have running 2f out of 76 fj40 and f head out of 72 fj 40 both still have life left in m the 2f still has tranny and bellhousing also have a sm465 for 100 bucks if interested del norte, co my buddie is sick of m clutterin up his place.
well my ol mid 70's chev is giving me fits. checked ignition module and replaced coil in disrtibuter, but i get er up to about 60mph and it starts crappin out sputterin jerkin and all kinda nasty s***. pullin good fuel so i pretty much eliminated that as the problem open to suggestoins thanks
double arms work ok just make sure it's a good build run my own on 72 with 35" and 76 with 38" but neither one is locked up front but that kinda abuse might weaken things up alittle
done three soa's been real fourunate as far as saggie springs go, but this one didn't fare so well. drivers side hangin bad, so i'm not into add a leaf would rather spring for some new packs any advice would be cool.
thank's poser i wasn't sure if i had a secret clip or somthing i didn't know about, i'll go back out and give er hell in the morning. i allready bent up a perfectly good matco pry bar, but i'm sure i can find something else to get on it.
hmmmm havin some problem here, cant seem ta get the steering arm out of my 76. is it diffrent than my 72? does it not just come out after removing nut's and taperd washers? looked in tech links but couldn't find anything, any help would be apriceated.

just got done doing my 7640 calipers 30 bucks from local junkyard brackets form proffitts 40 bucks for a pair, good value and good quality, roters 25bucks a piece, 20 bucks for milling, all i did for my brake lines is cut off metric fitting from hard line on both ends replaced it with inch...
just another fan of the soa, by all means keep the spring packs together.
i have no problem on the highway i drive my rig 200 miles to moab every yr

well just got done scrounging enough s*** ta do my rear disc conversion. i have read all he tech sights on this and it gonna be a peice of cake, only thing i need to know is will the top calliper pin be a problem with my soa.

wow what a stir over some sheet metal, some things sould not be fxxxed with.......moter aint one of m nor is the suspention. go nuts with that s*** leave tha sheet metal alone.
