    Early Box Heaters

I came across this old thread by chance tonight: https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj45-owners-club/40333-dealer-option-heater.html Similar but not the same heater, but there is some talk and a pic or two of a vent like you mention. No answers but HTH. Lup :)

    Australian LV, shoulder seat belt?

Thank you Chamba and Matt. I'm currently going through all the threads on the 45 section and reading everything LV related. I was surprised to see a pic of my truck so I had to ask. :) Yes, the roof is as rusty as it looks. Probably worse now and I didn't get the front windshield either...

    Australian LV, shoulder seat belt?

Yes, holy thread revival batman! Anyway, the 45V in the pic is mine (new to me). Obviously the eBay link is now dead but I don't suppose anyone on here saved any pics from the listing? I do this quite a bit for future reference. I wonder if it sold back then and how much? Very very...

What's your take on the extended sides of the tub? Extra protection perhaps?

    Ex Aussie Army HJ47 Rebuild

No I don't have a set but I was interested in what sort of construction they would be. I wonder if those bows are factory or Army fabrication. Do you know if the trucks were delivered with soft tops? How about the roll bar that came with yours? Doesn't look Toyota to me. The bows look...

    Lupdog's 1967 FJ45V Wagon (Aust spec LV)

Yes, the eBay one. Not so sure about the "little" rust part! The more resto threads I read about these wagons the more worried I am about what else lurks beneath that paint. What is it with the fugly green paint on these rigs? I've seen pics of three oz 45v's with varying shades of snot...

 Looking good mate. I really like the look of a topless troopy. I take it that it would have had a full soft top in its service days? Do you have the bows? What is the round thing on the right side of the original rear bumper?

Some good bits: Rear brake light lenses are in great shape. Non US rear turn signals (not so great). I thought the interior door pulls were non stock until I tracked down a pic of the same ones in another thread - I believe they are late model (67?)

Dash: By the look of things I believe this truck was 3 on the floor from factory. The holes in the dash don't suggest the FD setup was there. I love the glovebox door hinges. None of my other 40s have this - was it a GIFU thing?

The dead heart: From searching I believe the red brown colour could be undercoat. I can't recall seeing too many original engine bay pics in other threads - what colour should it be?

    Lupdog's 1967 FJ45V Wagon (Aust spec LV)

a few more: check out the B pillar interior lights and how you access the bulb  The third pic is of a spare one attached to a piece of B pillar that I found in the truck. Rust monsters were very busy on the 45V that that one came off  I believe these B pillar lights were...

    Lupdog's 1967 FJ45V Wagon (Aust spec LV)

The next day after work I was able to push it into the shed (literally) with the tractor. The :princess: sitting on a milk crate and doing the steering while my two little tackers were testing out the rear bench seat. It was a cool afternoon!

    Lupdog's 1967 FJ45V Wagon (Aust spec LV)

Hi :) I though it was about time I posted up a few pics of my recently acquired FJ45V. Did you know the "L" in LV stands for left hand drive? RHD versions were just designated as FJ45V so I am going to call this rig the "V Wagon". I first became aware of the existence of the FJ45LV while...
