Give Matthew Jackson a call at Advanced Adapters. He's a rover dude and may be able to help. You could also post up on defendersource.com to ask questions. The red Series 1 is going to be worth the most. The Series IIa is also work a bit, like others have said a rusted frame or bulkhead is...
Great winch, I've got one one for my Rover. It's known as a "Bellvue" . and is the predecessor to the 8274, and like preveiously stated the biggest drawback is there is no power out. It's power in only. Other than that they're great winches. Good luck on the sale.

Dan, I checked on the doors. Both have all the glass intact but the drivers side is missing the window crank and regulator. The passenger door has two rust spots on the bottom edge, on measuring about 2.5"x1.5" the other about 1.5"x1.5".
Dan, I abbreviated my state of Maryland in the title line of my ad, (MD).
The doors are in great shape no rust. I'll double check again and can take pics if you need. One of the doors is complete the other is missing the glass and regulator.

I'm working on a project vehicle ('67 FJ40) right now and have wondered about the same question. To be honest I've never seen any discussions about parabolics outside of the Rover community. Do you know of a source for FJ40 parabolics?
I also have a long wheelbase Rover ('63 109) and am...
I've got a 94 RR with the air suspension. Take my word for it, and dump the ECU. The valve body and the airbags are ok. I run mine manually right now cause the ECU has a tendency to lock up and only the dealer can reset it. As for replacement bags, there is a place in florida that sells just...
