Does anyone have access to the actual paint mix to make Spring Green 1028? My paint guy says the code is old and he can’t actually find the color makeup.

Ok, as I was trying to replace my 65 fj40 hood tiedowns, the real pain in the A** bottom bolts just got the best of me. Why make things so hard? It made me wonder....What are the most difficult parts you have had to replace on your cruiser?

Thanks for all the great responses. I have sourced one of the early fat style mirrors(spendy). I have the rig in my shop about 45 minutes away...and a snowy mountain Pass. Will get you an update when I can get a hole pattern also.

I have used Folgers plastic lids and traced the outline...just to have something that prevented metal on metal. Not exactly an ICON level rebuild in my case.
You do have a point that I am just figuring out. I have always done the lift springs with matching shackles, but I did not want as much lift on this. I didnt have much time today, but i did notice the bad shackle angle after letting it down. I do have other anti-inversion style shackles I can...
