Can anyone give me a part # for the Banjo bolts that are required for the rear GM disc brake conversion. I am using the raybestos hoses #38149 and I can't seem to find a banjo bolt long enough bolt the hoses to the calipers.

That's odd...... When I went to the parts store and asked for the rotors ..... that's what I got.... just a brand new pair of rotors. Maybe you need to talk to a different parts guy... :dunno:...

I'm halfway through a front disc brake conv. on my '74 Fj40 and I am noticing that neither of the tie rods that I have are going to do the trick. I have the whole front dif. from an '85 4runner with the tie rod.
The hole on the 4runner rod that "accepts" the rod from the center arm...
A friend of mine just gave me(well for a case of beer) a 283 Chev. motor and I plan to re-build it and put it in my cruiser. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if my stock tranny will hold up to it. I have a '74 Fj40 with the 3-speed.
Call me crazy but I kinda like the 3-speed tranny...

Thanx for the links. It looks like it's a straight forward process like any other hub. Mine must just be frozen on or put on with a generous helping of some kind of liquid gasket material.
