Went with Cali Raised Rock Sliders. They have a bunch of options, the 25-degree tuck in tight. I debated about that but opted for 0 (flat) with a step so I can reach the top of the cap and cab for future racks.
DCLB is not ideal for technical trails, but didn't want a crushed rocker panel...
PRO: Leather seats with seat warmers are nice in colder climates. LED headlights a super nice option.
I went with OR as Pro's are fetching $5K over invoice. Dealers sell those immediately with the "market adjustment"
I personally hate sunroofs. Super long torso, need all the headroom I can...
Wrecking yard?
Your best bet is something like the ARB air locker. About $1000 for the locker, but a decent option when you need a locker. Onboard air is also good for soft terrain (air down for sand, air back up before hitting the highway.
UPDATE: Still have Gregory & Haynes.
Cleaning out the shop, obviously the manuals were kept in the house and well cared for.

Check arrived today in the mail.
Transport guy called and is enroute to pick it up.
So it is heading North to a new home in a few hours. He asked "well could you drive it and meet me in a parking lot in San Antonio?" Uh oh..... Austin is well NORTH of San Antonio. :)
I had first...
Hmm, maybe I should have replaced the filter first! :)
Replaced the filter, fired up the cruiser... and it made it around the block! Running a little rich due to float level being high, but nice to have it make it around the block without backfiring! :)
Oh, still needs some TLC -- and...
That was quick!
SALE PENDING!
I'll leave the listing up, as it is never 100% sold until I have cash and the buyer has the rig! :)
We had a blast in the rig, just hated seeing it sit, so mighty glad to see it go to a new home.

I've had Ol' Blue for some years in Nevada, brought out to Texas in 2007. Clear Nevada Title (no liens).
New tires were put on in 2007, tank dropped and flushed, birf's repacked. Well, life happens and...
Yep, those nest appear in a day.
Only time I got stung was when a new wasp fell out of the hole, and right down the back of my shirt! Not fun (Benedry keeps me from breaking out, but knocks me on my butt as I have a reaction to wasp).
Favorite wild one '68 Datsun 510. Orange car with a blue interior! My eye's, my eye's. A few made it off the docks. Mr K (Nissan USA) refused that color after that, and had them resprayed Dark Blue.
I'd planned on making this more of a daily driver with a 5.3 Vortec, but stock engine...
Any Bearing House should have them in stock.
6301 is a common 12mm x 12mm x 37mm size.
Du means rubber shield on one side.
Just glanced at Fastenal - with a metal shield it is $2.05; with a double rubber shield $24!
I expect a bearing house to have it for around $10.00
"Old Blue" '87 Stock FJ60 has been with me for years. This was the Nevada Cruiser I had out in Carson City. I'd grab the kids, fly into Reno, jump in and start it up... off we'd go for two weeks of running around the Sierra Nevada's. Friend would drive it in the winter when snow got too deep...
I see some crazy prices on FJ60's, but just don't see them selling.
My neighbor was looking at buying my '87 FJ60. Dead stock, no rust, plain FJ60. This was my Nevada Cruiser, we would fly out and run all over the place and then part it until next year. Life happens, and I finally went...
Busy, way too busy! That is a good thing, however.
My daughter isn't playing softball this summer. Select teams the last five years have meant every weekend is a softball tournaments all over the state, so it will seem off to be home on weekends!
FJ60 hasn't left my yard in 5 years. Lots...

Good news is I have one very nice clean shop!

ditto as above.
If the intake manifold has warp it will leak air.... another carb won't fix that! Spraying WD40 near the manifold to engine will give you an idea if there is a air leak there (you'll hear the engine idle increase for a second). Propane (camping stove bottle) is a cleaner way...
