    Recommended seat covers

@TRD_Dan Just to confirm, that's a set that you removed the old leather and replaced it with the leather from covercraft? I wanted to confirm it's not a cover that goes over the old leather. Have you happened to post pictures on the forum?

2nd Gen Sequoia: Adding more cross bars to the factory roof rack?

That's what I was thinking I would do. Definitly doens't change the capacity, just spreading the load across more members and giving me more options like you said.

2nd Gen Sequoia: Adding more cross bars to the factory roof rack?

I got a hair brained idea today that it might be nice to have 1 or two more factory cross bars. I sometimes put the cargo bag for extra luggage on the roof. Has anyone else done that? I'm not really in the market for safari style roof baskets, nor would it fit in my garage. I saw options for...

CarPlay Standard in 2020 and up?

I have a 2014 Sequoia and I was wondering the same thing. I was interested in replacing ours at some point with a 2018 to 2020 Sequoia. Looks like I'll have to go the aftermarket route if I wanted to add Carplay, but at that point I may just upgrade my Sequoia rather than look for a new one...

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

I’ve let this stew in my brain and I like the shape of it and the configurations, I just wish there was a non-hybrid option that gave a third row in the USA market. That’s the real bummer as a parent that needs those extra seats vs taking two cars everywhere. Same issue with the sequoia they...

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

My gut tells me you’re right. I cannot think of an example of one. Edit - apparently the 300 does. It is forever the unicorn.

But it seems like only the US domestic market is getting this configuration. Other markets will not likely be petrol.

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

I agree with you, this checks a lot of boxes for a majority of people. I’m absolutely positive these will sell well, especially to people who are one foot in bronco land and one foot in wrangler land but hesitant to pull the trigger. The towing, the trailer brake, the inverter, mileage and...

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

CRIKEY! They get the good one. In Australia, the all-new Prado will be offered with the 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine enhanced with 48-volt technology to help improve fuel consumption in urban settings. Producing 150kW of power and 500Nm of torque, the 1GD engine drives...

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

Why have tumble seats in a market that won’t have a 3rd row? See that huge height difference from the floor to the cargo area? That’s the battery. Feels like the US gets the sloppy version of Toyota’s lately. I bleed Toyota. I preach Toyota but this design team doesn’t seem to see the issues...

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

Yeah, I feel like this is what the original FJC should have been. Even the side mirrors seem to be from the same molds.

Not gonna lie, this is channeling too much of the new ford bronco sport vibes.

    2024 GX/Prado Release and Discussion

My issue is the same one I had with the new Sequoia. The sequoia rear cargo area and this 2024 Land Cruiser have the same problem with a lot of lost storage consumed to make room for batteries. That lift up clearance height looks massive from top of bumper to top of battery deck. Regretting...

Front Axle Rebuild - For FAQ

When I first got the 80, I had the front axle rebuilt by the now defunct "Urban Land Cruiser" out of Atlanta. At the time I wasn't aware of any other land cruiser-specific shops, and they appeared to have a decent run business of fixing land cruisers, so I am not intending to flame them...

    2023 Toyota Sequoia - 3rd Generation REVEALED

This to be honest. This feels like MrT gave the USA a Cruiser-lite since it wouldn’t send the full version.

    2023 Toyota Sequoia - 3rd Generation REVEALED

I’m not even sure why they didnt do the flip up rear seats like the 100 series. That’d have been a pretty neat feature. I do like the cockpit and the layout for the center console. The exterior styling is aggressive and bold. Seems like the first and second rows are well thought out.

    2023 Toyota Sequoia - 3rd Generation REVEALED

This thing has really given me some mixed feelings, and if I replace my current Sequoia it would be for a 2021/2022 4x4 model. What I use the truck for is hauling kids and sports equipment. My 2nd Gen with the fold-down (flat) rear seats, it provided the greatest amount of room and...
