    Alkarich--I did not try the bulbs with the shields installed I just went ahead and removed them. The improvement is huge. Like I said this was really easy to do and well worth the time and money.

    I thought I read some where on MUD that you could grind down the rivets so that older rims would fit on disk brake set up. Is this possible or was I on drugs?

    I also just did this mod along with removing the light shields. The amount of light gained on the instrument panel is a huge improvement. The amount of light on the fuel gauges is not as much as on the speedo but I can definitely see an improvement.

    Where to find replacement sill and??

    I also replaced my rear sill and channel with parts from CCOT. This was maybe 6 yrs ago and it is holding up very well. The quality was good, it came painted and pre-drilled holes for all the door stops and spare tire rack mount.
