Eastlake does seem to take a strong stand on used Land Cruiser inventory in the Seattle market - so I visited them some years back when shopping. Similar to others I got a weird "vibe" after speaking with sales staff and test driving the trucks. The person I worked with did not have an...
Bump - truck remains available for sale.
For fun, here are some images of an Icelandic Prado (rental) as an inspiration...

Images of the (third row delete) custom cargo shelf :
and with an example of tie down:
In a previous LC (100 series), the previous owner had installed some beautiful (but heavy) drawers. With this 150, I was looking to maximize flexibility and keep daily weight in check. On week long...
Thanks for asking for more images ... My plan is to post the truck on mud for a week before posting elsewhere. Probably next on expedition portal.
The custom fold down wooden table in "up" transit position. Nice stained wood with brushed aluminum trim - and ties to trims on the cargo deck...

Monday morning update: visited truck just after sunrise (still there) - same elements, starter trying, not catching. Particularly cold (for here) 16-18F and due to stay that way for next four days. I have a tow truck on path for midday (once they clear the monday icy emergencies) and taking it...
I don't have any good options tonight - will have to pursue options in the morning. Agree your concerns.
Sounds like the starter is trying to start the engine but not "catching" - could be a fuel pump as 3_puppies implies
Temperature dropping (mid 20F), snow falling and made a running to the dump...(15 min drive). Turned off the truck while unloading (5min)...
First time in 20yrs the truck cranking but not catching...battery fine but no even a partial start. Tried to tap starter but no difference.

Thanks for the link to video clip of Himalayan FJ60 roof reinforcement - really enjoyed the utilitarian approach.

Torfab is a cruiser specialty service shop, involved in our regional TLC clubs and events and I've gone to them for service over 15yrs (on the rare occasion the truck needs something). Torfab » The NW destination for Land Cruisers parts and service, including complete one-off custom built...
The winter rehab progressing and I'm ready to drive / explore in the next month (so time to button it back up)...

...have retained - and just refreshed - my 1988 FJ62. Torfab just replace rusting C-channels and installed a fresh OME/Bilstein suspension and the truck feels/run great. With 247K miles I did POR-15 on the frame rails, removed a failing headliner and added kilmat to deaden the...
For both HD cross bars and full LnL platform, cross winds seem to create some wind noise.
The LnL platform is robust, but in N config it is pretty heavy (near 100lbs).
I'm still tinkering with how I'll do a roof load... A full platform certainly overkill for all known RTT, but like having...
@jakemccurdy - good to hear you are still plugging away at camping with these trucks...
I've been spending winter weekend on a refresh of my "boomerang" FJ62 - but trying to button it up as spring adventures are immediately ahead...
As I didn't see it mentioned in this GX thread, I'm really...
