And just like that, a year and a half later, it's time for an update. I said when I tore my Orion apart again, I would document it. So, here it is. This last hunting season, I had the same problem, if not worse, of my transfer case popping out of gear on declines. I ended up posting in the...

    O R I O N

Mark/Mr Murphy, I don't like what you are implying. And I don't like that I just went out with my caliper and measured my output shaft. And I really don't like that I just ordered a new output shaft since mine is most definitely worn. D'oh! But THANK YOU for posting that up. You definitely...

The fork is worn a bit oddly. It seems it isn't making contact with the shift collar evenly front to back - tilted maybe a better word. The shift fork and collar were new from AA when I installed them. So what should I do here? Leave it alone? File down the fork to make it sit flush? Use...

    O R I O N

So, I'm having a problem with my Orion. As there are now 47 pages on the Orion sticky, please forgive me for asking a dumb question and not going through all those pages. I did go back a couple of pages and didn't see anything. My Orion is probably 4 years old now. I've had this problem...

    LS headers

I did the Advance Adapters headers - Vortec Gen 3 Universal Headers /Ceramic Coated - https://advanceadapters.com/10703. They're nothing special, but they work. They fit inside the frame rails. Best pics I have handy right now.

Sounds good to me! And to add another picture, here's our hunting camp. I towed in the 40, and my son drove in my Bronco for a couple of days. My nephew had his side by side in as well. The side by sides are nice, but when it is snowing and blowing, there's something to be said for doors...

Sorry, somehow I missed this. Not a lot of changes lately. Unfortunately, I havent wheeled much lately. Right after I did the air intake, I went out snow wheeling with Boots and Brokenparts. Everything worked great. *I had to add a pic of Brokenpart's awesome 45. I think it was page 5 in...

Builds Project Lockjaw-1973 Fj40 on Tons

I used Advance Adapters. They work and keep the exhaust inside the frame rail. https://www.advanceadapters.com/products/717043-hdr--inside-frame-rail-chevy-generation-3-ls-series-v8conversion-headers/

Very nice! I'm still running the flex hose. I'll probably buy those hoses and upgrade. Thanks for the tip!

    FJ45 Documentation. I have a green one.

Time for an LS swap! 😁

    I'm still on 35s. I meant FJ40s. 🤣

I did end up wrapping it with insulation. It definitely helped with the temps. I haven't had any issues with lack of airflow, and I can't hear any whistling. But then again, I'm deaf and 40s are loud! 😂 Overall, I'm still very happy with it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I definitely...

Builds Moonshine - A Build Thread

I think the biggest problem is that you're keeping your Bud Light at 38*. Waaaay too warm. You need to drop that to 28* right now! Just kidding (kinda...I like cold beer). Nice job!

Taking my Bronco to the Arctic Ocean

I finally got a chance to read your article. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Taking my Bronco to the Arctic Ocean

Thanks Chad. I'm really looking forward to it. I really hope that Canada opens up before then. We do have a backup plan, but heading north is our first choice. Thanks for the article. I'll read it tonight. Over the last 8-10 months that we've been planning this trip, I've read all I can...

Taking my Bronco to the Arctic Ocean

Thanks guys. I think I mentioned it to you Mike when we were up at TSF last month. If not, its Lyle and I going. We talked about taking our 40s, but 6000 miles is a little far driving a 40. I'd need more time cuz I could only stand maybe 250 miles a day!

Taking my Bronco to the Arctic Ocean

Hey all, I realize this is a Toyota forum, but I wanted to share an upcoming trip. I, along with a couple of buddies, am taking a trip to the Arctic Ocean this September in my 1994 Bronco. To make a long story VERY short, a buddy of mine is working on sponsorship from some big companies. I...

What have you done with/to your buggy this week?

Very nice! It seems the only way I keep up on your stuff anymore is on Lite Brite. :geek:

I finally got everything buttoned up yesterday. In all, I completely reworked my air intake, moved the transmission cooler to under the bed, moved my air compressor (it was in the way of the tranny cooler's new spot), and moved all my wiring to the passenger side from the driver's side. And...
