so whats the verdict on Synchro wear? IS it bad for them? I know that Jamming the tranny into gear as fast as you can is, but if you're timing everything right it shouldn't make a difference on synchro wear whether or not you're using the clutch right?
Ditto, and if you're going to chop it up a bit to get the hump out would you be willing to sell some other parts off it? (Bed and corss supports, floor pans, rockers, wells etc etc.)
They don't lift the carpet, but they'll be inspecting for holes from the underside. Its a serious place to have the problem and would most definetly be classified as affecting the structural integrity of the truck.

Well. I recently hosed down the inside of my cruiser after a dip in the mud bog, and never had a single problem. When I took the cluster apart to make the lights brighter I noticed a gasket and in general the unit seems pretty water tight.
yea, TSP will strip off any gunk you can imagine too!. We use it at work sometimes to remove glue residue's and stuff.. its quite potent to say the least!
