I know there are members who do outstanding jobs of rebuilding and selling FJ40 2F carbs.
I’ve been searching in mud and can’t find their contact info or websites. I’ve tried to send messages. Is there an existing resource list already?
If not..can someone please post a contact list...

when putting in my new fuel tank, I tried to get all fancy with vacuum lines and charcoal canisters and when I drive above 40 the fj40 stalls out from fuel starvation. The only thing left for me to undo is the setup I tried for the tank venting. I read...
Yes old set up worked fine
Old set up was mechanical + inline elect
New set up is same
I’m wondering if my mech fuel pump
May be bad??
It just doesn’t make sense because nothing changed ffom old to new set up except new equipment

So I a little perplexed.
‘78 FJ40
I replaced the fuel tank, all lines, fuel filter.
Put a new inline electric pump to help with the orig factory fuel pump
Prior to me replacing the tank, lines etc she was running fine
Now after all the new equipment…she bogs down going about 40...
Yeah
That’s exactly where I’m at…every time I think I know what I need to get …I read someone’s opinion that throws a curveball into my plan

I’ve searched and the results are overwhelming and all over the place with opinions and suggestions. What I need help with is a straight forward list of parts I need to convert a 1978 FJ40 (uS-LHD) that has a 1975 2F in it to POwer Steering using FJ60 parts.
I’m not interested in Saginaw...

I added a canister and Plumbed or replaced all the vacuum lines.
No fuel smell! I won for now
I did notice my fuel lines prob need to be replaced soon , but that will be a project for another day!

My accelerator Cable snapped...I’ve searched and searched Mud and interweb...zero luck. Most posts are about Weber carbs which I don’t have
I have a 78FJ40 with a 75 2F.
Stock carb..so some minor Frankenstein work on my pig between 75 & 78 hardware.
To be safe I need a ‘75 & ‘78 throttle...
Thanks for heads up . Tank is good . It is not the orig and was replaced a few years ago. Some of the lines coming out are a little

I hooked up my new CC setup and it works great. I did order an oem fuel vapor check valve from cruiser parts. If that part ends up being a dog ..I’ll PM you.
