Great to hear and thank you for the response, I had a problem in my HJ61 that I couldn't get it to smoke at all, always suspected the boost compensator, will definitively check it out when I have time.
Did you get any reference on the diaphragm? part number or manufacturer
it's volcanic rock and dust from a nearby volcano, different colors depending on how long the eruption was that spewed it out I think, not a geologist though :)
Went on a trip with some friends the other weekend, first time properly offroading my cruiser, friends had a couple of 120 series cruisers.
Went to Jökulheimar cabin and around Heljargjá in Iceland if you want to look it up on google :)
Thanks for the answers guys, the thing is all of the connectors for the turbo where thrown away at the shop, a "box of turbo junk" as it was described... but I now have flexible tubing running to the turbo, ordered some from mamba.

my swap is in it's last stages, I have noticed a plug that it open on the block and can't figure out what it's for, saw somewhere it might be an oil drain connection?
If anyone knows what it is it would be much appreciated (see image):)

I have contacted Foreal Boreal regarding the 58020 housing and will then be ordering a CHRA from Melett, should be a huge...
The 58020 turbine housing I have is somewhat cracked around the wastegate valve, see pic:
Is this safe to use?
Also it has a crack leading radially with the wheel on the outside:
Just wondering if I should try to find another housing or use this one?
Pulled the turbo apart and found my old stock CT-26 from the 12H to compare to.
First things first, the exhaust housing:
The one on the left is the stock 12H unit, one on the right is what I had now, obviously much larger.
Compressor housings:
Same order as before, the smaller one has a hole...
Will measure it this weekend, will be curious to see, beginning to think I have a Supra turbo with a 1HD wheel, would a turbo like that work at all?
I also have old housings from the original turbo which I will compare to what I have now
