Cruiser spotted

Driving to Charlotte I saw two at a house on 85. It was 1 mile south of exit 90 on the northbound side. Lokked like a nice beige 40 and another parts 40 out back. Anyone know who this is?

Yeah I stopped there back a few months ago, he's a rich SOB ovehaulin kind of guy. Last time I was there the beige was 4sale, didn't have a price though. The one that is blue I asked him if he'd sell it for parts but he said he and the guy who owned it were going to restore it, although it's been out there for like 5 years or so.

I think I saw the same thing, but it was behind a shop, not a house? (Or a metal building, right by the N bound lane?)

In case anybody's interested, I did stop by that used car lot that has a lot of Jeeps around Easley (Exit 30ish, I-85)....

There is quite a few front solid axle Toy Pickups behind all of those jeeps......

Someone mentioned a restored tan 40 off of 85 a few months back, for $15K

I have seen more cruisers in the past week than I can shake a stick at. Still none for sale( or at least in my price range). I stopped in Columbia and visited a friend that goes to the other university that SC has to offer. I saw two 40's one tan and one nordic blue( that is a kick ass color), and three 60 series. I was in cruiserland! I wonder if there is a club in Columbia? Are there any more clubs in the state? If so maybe we could contact these guys and go with Richards idea about the Cashiers run. I'm sure some of these guys would like to come wheel the somewhat hilly part of the state.

I believe UC is the only club within the state. We have members that drive up from Columbia and further because there isnt anything that way.

UC is the only club in SC I'm aware of right now.
Believe or not, but I'd bet most Land Cruiser owners
aren't in a club. A "touchstone" like a club sure
increased the pleasure of ownership for me.
I know I floundered around for years thinking
I was the only nut keeping one of these beasts alive.
When UC was formed all that changed.
Some say misery loves company. Oh the sacrific
we all make for the pleasures of these old trucks.
It's something we all share.
Cruiserheads. Special breed.
Oh, by the way, when we go 262 to the south coast
we pass an ORV area south of Columbia.
Any of you midlands fellas know of this?
