JP went a couple months back he has pics too. I'm sure when he sees he'll post them up for you. He has some body damage too if I recall correctly.

How far a drive is it from clemson? I'm tryin to figure out where the hell it's at...of course might have somethin to do with the alchohol in me right now,and not ble to read this stupid map. Thanks

North and east of charlotte if I'm not mistaken. I think about 1 hr out from Charlotte.

rudi wins the prize....it's about 3.25-4.25 hours out from clemson, depending on traffic around charlotte and if you can hit 70-75mph....

Ya know I think I've been campin up there a few years ago. Had a buddy of mine in the Marine Corp that was a legune, and we met half way, which was uwharrie, to go campin. Pretty bad ass place from what I remember.

the old days

Here's pic from our last club run there about 3-4 years ago.
It's more like a 6-7 hour trip from the upstate.
Tellico is more like 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 from the upstate.
All time estimates are for driving a fj40.

I thought you went up there with the Clemson 4x4 guys. My mistake, they probably have pics up in the heep forum we could find though.

Uwharrie is a fun place, not nearly the terrain you see in Upper Tellico, Lets us guys up here in NC know if you are gonna be around the area, would love to get the clubs together and trail ride. Olde North State Cruisers is gonna have quite a few trips there.
