Sounds good. I'm gonna have all the girls with me so it ought to be an interesting trip.

Weather actually is improving with the majority of this stuff coming through tonight instead of tomorrow. Wouldn't want to camp up there tonight though.

They are only calling for scattered showers tomorrow while we are up there. Which is a big change from 90% chance. I call the park office to see if they had any cancellations on the shelters up there and they do. But it's first come first serve. SO if we get lucky we might have a place to hang out and build a fire. If not we can always go hang out at the restaurant at the top of Mount Mitchell and eat apple and chocolate pie.

Personally I wouldn't and every time I've tried to make a reservation at Pisgah Inn for lunch they have said no. Anyway with the way people will be coming in I'd say we just hang out for about 30 min before we eat. SHould give them plenty of time to get ready.

Sorry I'm not there. Was really looking forward to it this year.

The 62 has shown a few symptoms of things that need to be fixed. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to fix two radiator leaks and a low idle that's got the 62 running funny. I'm thinking I need to clean the trotle body...maybe a fuel filter.

You do own a 100. Pretty sure that would have made it up there.

Had a great time. Food was great. Glad to see the 16 of us that made the trip.

I didn't think there would be any views or things to look at due to the weather and just wanted to go and hang out with the cruiser crowd. While it did rain from time to time the views and clouds were awesome. Leaves were a perfect mix. I should have some pics up later today. I know know that even if the weather is bad the BRP still puts on a an awesome show.

Thanks for everyone showing up and making this an event to remember. It was nice meeting all the new members.

It's a Sam Adams Octoberfest

The black trunk is full of batteries there is a solar panel on the roof, the fridge is an old GE brand,it was padlocked shut so I'm guessing it was full of various body parts from missing hikers
