Anyone can take one off. It's the reassembly you might need help with.
Make sure you label everything you take loose.
We can help you

what are your plans? if you are doing a frame off resto, just label everything as you go. if you just want to clean up the frame, leave all the wiring intact disconnect the fenders and pull it up. you will need some help. me and a buddy did mine.

It's a 77'. My plans? Heck I don't know. I know what I want to do but it depends how much it will cost. What I want to do is take the body off and media blast it. After that I want to prime and coat underneath the body and inside with either Rhino Liner or LineX. That way I can be done with worrying about the body.
How much should media blasting cost and what exactly is it?

the body itself is only 8 bolts. they are all pretty easy to get to. in order to media blast I would remove everything including wires any handles fuel lines fuel tank and any rubber grommets on the firewall. this will take some time. take lots of pics. not sure how much to media blast

on the 40 i am doing now, it will cost me total the whole body and all the little parts around 1200. to me its worth it knowing there is absolutely no rust what so ever on the body. i did acid dip all of mine though. you may come out cheaper with media blasting.
