Prayer meeting for the 80

Ok so after having problems with the strange rattle, we pulled the flex plate and torque converter apart to isolate the noise. We put the bolts back in and apparently we did it wrong b/c the truck vibrated like crazy. So I take it apart 3 times, each time rotating the torque converter to see if that would help, nope. I decided i'd run it by AAMCO transmisson to let them look at it, and they agreed to just remove the bolts and try again. I drove home and it of course vibrated all the way home, but when I got out............street full of transmission fluid. Called AAMCO back and he said it most likely vibrated the seal on the torque converter and that was the culprit. I had AAA tow it to them and they are going to start work on Tuesday. Hopefully it won't be more than $600 according to the guy.... so let's all hold hands and pray for the 80 that it'll make it thru the surgery...
