| I thought about the IH8MUD, and it is a front runner. Just seeing if any one else had some ideas. |

| I think the only way to find out is go by the DMV. I have been looking online and I have not been able to find a database. The only info I found for personalized plates in SC is a form called MV-96 that you have to fill out and send in to request your plates. You are able to submit 3 selections. If the first one is taken they will go to number 2, if that is taken then number 3, and if that is taken........who knows.
Just as long as I don't get Kramer'ed and end up with ASSMAN........ |

| That's about how it works. Go to the DMV and send out your 3 requests.
The ladies at the counter can help with what's taken...sometimes.I just got lucky with FJ40
and FJ60.
I had a heck of a time with the Sprite's tags. They told me Frogeye was available but it got snagged before my request arrived.
If FJ40 wasn't there I was going with 72 FJ.
Austin Healey is Heybugi (matches old personalized Cali plate on front)
MGB is MGB 71
Gundy is FJ40
Big is FJ60
Benz and FZJ80 run incognito plates.
It's not just for the names but that the new SC plates suck.
Custom plates use the pattern you see with FJ40, above. |
