on the frame , there isnt any place that needs repairing of any kind. the plan is to go over it with a grinder and sanding disc with 120 grit, just to take some of the surface rust off, and then just brush the por on top.

not much but a little at a time. scrubbed the back part of the frame and did a little sanding, then brushed the por15 on. i think it turned out fine.

they are alot of fun and easier to work on. and the plus is most of the body panels are pretyy flat and easy to replace.

chemstrip out of foutain inn. for everything except the frame and drivetrain it cost 1600. it was a little high but well worth it to me. there is not going to be any rust on this truck anywhere. i epoxy primerd everything as soon as i got it back. if you want the number just let me know.

Your way ahead of me.
Looking really good.
If you need some hardware you can come by the house anytime. I'll take your old bolts in exchange as long as they are salvagable.

I'm home all day today working on the cruiser if you want to come over and look through the bolts. Also if anyone wants to swing by and give me a hand or talk shop I'll be around.

installed the harness, correctly this time first time was just moc up. got the rear half doors on. put one side on with new seals. hooked the fresh air pull. this was a little tricky not remembering how it was. hung one of the doors. i think i might have to shim the body to make them line up right, not sure. got all the swicthes hooked up and all wiring except the cluster and the coil. wow it took me 12 hours just to do those things. not very good timing considering i cant work on it til next week again. oh well. here some pics of it coming together
