The actual 'meeting' part will probably be less than an hour - but there will be lots of people around from 8-9 ish in the AM to 5 ish PM. I'm guessing the 'meeting' might be after lunch.

The unofficial High Country aka Blue Ridge aka Freakcity, USA, chapter of UC plans on meeting at Backcountry Outdoors in Pisgah Forest/Brevard (280 &276) around 8:30 am and convoying to Aunt Sues. Should be a nice ride down Ceasar's Head. A "sub convoy" will meet at the Hardees in Weaverville (New Stock Rd.) at 7:30 and convoy to the convoy.
Adam, "The Dear Leader," and Tommy, "rescuer of Jeeps and lesser rigs," ambassadors from Sylva, may meet us in Brevard. Bring your FRS or Ham radios (or both) so we can talk junk on our way down to bestow our presence on the inhabitants of the lowlands . . . . Also, bring a chair as the main event involves sitting around and shooting Bull. Also, its a good opportunity to trade parts, give away parts, or steal parts when Marshall isn't looking . . .

The Hardees is now an Ingles Gas Station? Wow, I need to pay closer attention. No wonder they were upset when I tried to order a half-pound burger.
Well, Grizzly, I'll meet you at the Ingles gas station . . . the coffee should taste about the same.
TOMMY AND ADAM . . . You could take the Parkway at Balsam to 276 down to Pisgah Forest . . . a little longer, but very scenic. Glad you guys decided to hang with our convoy . . .no peer pressure or anything.

John (Jrmins) is gonna do it - thanks though.
Do you want to be in charge of horse shoes?
I don't think we ever set a time for the raffle. What does everyone think about right after lunch - say 2ish?

x2 - I'm driving the Pig
Also - there is rain in the forecast but I'm bringing the UC canopy. In case any of you haven't seen it it is pretty large and we can even install the sides/extra top on it to give us even more room to get out of the rain if needed. Aunt Sue's restaurant also has a nice covered porch.
Rain or shine I'm looking forward to it!

I am still coming but will probably be solo. I got my gear box back from west texas off road and have it installed. The drive up will be the "test" run... from what I read Bfast starts around 10:00 am. I plan on leaving around 7 am from the farm, which means 730 ish.....might bring some parts...

well looks like they rebuilt my steering gear box wrong ,, unless I had a huge amount of slop ,,,,, when I sent it off it was 4.5 stop to stop, now it is 2.5 mmmm talk about HUGE turning radius..... called them they said they would talk me thru the fix (which they did, and it seems easy) or they would pay for both trips...... nice guys, s/it happens to all of us, heck even I burn food everyso often .... I am going home early tonight, will try to fix it and reinstall it so I can bring the 62 ... wish me luck..............good thing I bought extra ATF
OK so the reason I posted this, I will probably be late, some of you have my cell number, I am coming up 85 if you need me to stop at RHT or somewhere else, Marshall, and Steve can call me.
