No, and no. The glows put a big draw on the battery right off the bat but even without them on, I couldn't get the starter to turn over. Yeah, I'll have it checked. Gotta find a shop around here that can check it. Might just throw the other optima in and see if that makes a difference.

Whats your plan for a headliner? I'm thinking about just gluing in some heavy-duty speaker carpet.

Seem to remember mornings like that when I lived above 4000 ft in the smokies. Don't miss that at all. Did however always modified the 60's with the block heater and would try to remember to plug her in on cold nights(say Nov to Mar 1) then did not kill so many bat. Doc Side effect was how toasty warm the rig was when I got in very little warm up time till heat was blowing in your face. Lol Doc

My winter projects:
1. install Demello front bumper and winch on FJ Cruiser
2. install Lucrum swing away tire carrier with quick fists for shovel and axe...and two jerry can holders
3. chain drive on Indian motorcycle, single fire ignition setup, send carb and manifold away for some updating, and have new tires on her by April.
4. check on FJ60 up at dads...he thinks it is going to need a rebuild or swap....get engine squared away...then maybe OME lift and some bigger meat underneath....or skids...and an expedition rack if I can get old man to buy them. He has a renewed interest in his old FJ60 now after reading my magazines and seeing my pics. He has not driven his 07 Rubicon Unlimited that is fully loaded and modded with everything you can think of......in over a month. LOL
5. Get the Lowcountry Land Cruisers website up a notch higher with Picture Galleries, Event Galleries, and a couple other things...
that ought to keep me busy.....and broke poor!

Dave - I have a 76 2F you can rebuild. Cost = 3 6packs of good beer which is what I paid. I actually paid 4 but JP picked up some parts and gave some Gordon's! You can have it as soon as my 2F is back from the rebuilder, installed and running good and I know I don't need any parts off of the spare. That should be Feb/March. Will that work?

Well, I have one...the Avocado will be ready for Spring! I dropped it off at Atlanta Custom Creations yesterday. A few thousand bucks and I should be good to go topless...now to find a soft top for it...hmm.
Oh, and Jason...you scare me. Deep, soul shaking kind of scared.

I may take you up on that offer. I am still debating on trying to find a parts 60 to get some other parts and trail spares off of at the same time. Have to see if that happens or not. Your 2f being that early, does it have mounts for ps? I am planning on making a 2FE for my 62 with it.

It doesn't have a PS mount - but - what I did on my Pig with a similar 76 was use an adaptor for a saginaw pump. You can buy these from several vendors including IPOR. If the PS mount is off the block you could always use your block and these parts if that works for you.

Mine: Continue stuffing the envelope that's in the kitchen cabinet with dollars that will hopefully add up to an OME lift and a set of KM2's that y'all can help me install durring my summer '09 HAMOM.
Oh, and continue unpacking from the recent move.
