I'd be up for doing this at my house. I think we would need to start early. I don't think 2 hrs would be enough.

I could cook Hamburgers and hotdogs and have everyone else bring a dish.

Just a thought.
Sounds good Marshall - let me know when and where and I'll post it up.

Any planned wheeling events? We haven't done URE in a while or maybe the new place in pickens.... an OBX trip this fall?

Heather and I discussed an option for a new OTMT location this past weekend. We'll discuss more this weekend at her HAMOM with the Juice and Troll.

First post updated.

I added the URE trip to the first post.

Put a potential May 9 Mother's Day Run @ Pickens ORV Park. Anyone want to head this one up?

weze gots some space for HAMOMs - or as my wife calls them "HAMAMABOBS."

IIRC Dave, Matt, Jay and Carp are in line - does anyone want to step up and have their junk wrenched on?

Are we having OTMT this year? Obviously not at Tellico, but somewhere? As for my HAMOM, it may be a gear change, not sure yet, nor about the date. Our house is up for sale, so I might not be ready by then, depends on if we sell before then.

OTMT will have to be planned for another venue with the uncertainty of Tellico being open.

I'm working on a few location and hope to get something posted up soon. It will probably be a longer drive for us - maybe a few hours longer.

The listed events are not the only events planned - just those I have dates/info for.

I am not planning a fall Cullowhee trip for UC. There are not any legal loop trails, the upper bald does not have a legal approach, etc etc so there would be a bunch of out-and-backs (maybe one from one paved road to another) and this would make a group trip very difficult. The last few trips out there have overwhelmed the place. UC policy before I became President was the club does not drive closed trails so I don't see it happening while I am President. After the Annual Meeting you'll have a new President and maybe he/she will take the club. I can't though.

If you take your old motor out and have a new one ready to go in and don't expect it to be running at the end of the day. Sure. It can be done.

So you have

Black Balsam trip the second weekend in Sept

The annual meeting the 3rd weekend

and the LC boil the 4th week.

That's a lot going on in 3 weeks. Not that I can go on any of these trips due to the baby due in late august. (I will make the annual)

Wow June got here fast.WE got back from vacation last week in the 80 and it did great. I am still up for a HAMOM if possible? I need to install my caster bushings in the 80 and poissibly install a few other things depending on how a few things pan out. This could include use of the bender??

How about an A/C Super-HAMOM-wich? Kitty's been driving her wagon around all these years without it, but all the components are there - we think. Any of you other guys in 40's & 60's need to do an A/C refresh? I know someone with licensed equipment and the brains on how to do it

Yeah, I have A/C in my '82 40, which works if you consider the blower fan running as "works" (insert ratling noise here) . . . sure would love to either get that running or figure out what needs to be done.

That would be me. I have all the suff to do 134a, r-12, Freeze 12 (I'll have to buy those) Would even be willing to do a mp39/401a if someone is daring enough.

I have gauges, can taps, and the all important deep vacuum. As well I have a hose crimper if you need to replace your hoses. Even have a gram scale for getting the exact amount into your cruiser.

Also remember if your home A/C goes out this summer give me a call I'm a licensed HVAC Tech. I'm pretty cheap and most likely a lot faster. So far this summer I've gone through 3 jugs of r-22 for friends and family. Can also buy as well replace outside heatpumps and straight a/c units (need some a/c for your garage? lol)

I'm all in for the 11th. 4th is pushing it for me and we need to get the word out.

I'm going to be a poo poo on my BBQ this year. I just don't have the energy. Though I would love to go eat some for a MM.

Steve and I went to Hunt'n Camp off of 25 a few months ago for a MM. It was pretty solid BBQ.
