Gulches Sat. July 19th

With the upcoming big events we have (BBQ and OMT) we decided it would be best for July's wheeling to be a nice relaxing day trip event. It will take place at Gluches ORV park in Laurens, SC on Sat. July 19th @ 10am. Gulches has something to offer for everyone from mild to wild and it should be a great day to come out have some fun wheeling and still be home for dinner

Exact details will be worked out in the coming days, but start getting your cruisers ready for some wheeling as this will be a good warm up for all those attending the Over The Mountain Tour at Tellico

I just bought up a Gulches gift certificate off the radio. 93.3 the Planet (in Greenville) is holding an auction to raise money for the wife and child of a slain police officer. I hopefully will have the certificate when we go to Gulches on the 19th.

Aight guys and girls only about a week to go before this ride.......... where is everybody??? I know more people than this have got to have the itch to go wheeling!!!!

It isn't often we do a one day wheeling so come out and take advantage of this great local wheeling oppurtunity...........

I will be there in the FZJ80 sporting 37's; thank goodness she is going to be out of town that weekend should give me atleast one day to rub out any dents and scratches that may arise

well i spoke too soon. Looks like we are homebound this weekend afterall. Kitty picked up a rash of chigger bites this past weekend while we were camping and it's driving her crazy. I've never seen so many bites - all over her legs little pink itchy dots. We're also still looking at possiblity of a heart transplant in the Wagoneer and trying to figure out the logistics of that.

I sure wish the only issue I had was a distributor and carb issues. Crap I could fix that in an hr. Unlike Chuck who has taken 3 years to work out.

Big gay is down and out. I have water coming out the headgasket. I need to retighten my headbolt but since my 1/2 extension has become missing since the SHAMONwich I don't have the proper tools to do it. Which really pisses me off. So I'll be there tomorrow in the 80 around 10. Me and my college buddies have camp site #1. So if I'm not at the entrance that is where I will be.

Had a great time! We almost rolled one rig and I swear another one was close to flopping. I took a bit of body damage but had a great time. I want to take the back soon. I'll try to get some pics posted later.

Sylvain and I got back in around 10 last night, with my tube doors on it looked like a dust storm following me down the road the first few miles, man was I tired by the time I got home.

Gulches is fun - it can get very slippery when wet. I plan on taking the back soon, hopefully during a competition as she would rather see other people tear their trucks up than watch me.

Much drier than when I was there last. Looks like more fun dry. We couldn't even turn w/out un locking the front it was so wet.

Steve, that's just a beauty mark, you'll always remember when and where you got your first dent.
