I noticed online registration in now closed. Will we be able to register on Friday at McNabb? We will be arriving early afternoon. There will be 2 non-UC member trucks. A 60 and an 80.
Thanks

We did it because I'm buying food and other things tomorrow and wanted to make sure we had enough for everyone. Today will be it as far as registrations. You can paypal UC@828rugs.com the money just make sure in the comment line you have who is coming and what you are paying for. But today is the last day.
Looking forward to hanging out with y'all.

Thanks Marshall. PayPal sent for one, no passenger.
I'll be sure the 80 gets registered today as well.

Well I just figured up the meat we will need for this weekend.
600 wings!
70 hamburgers and 40 hotdogs!
That is a lot of meat.
Last year I cooked 450 wings and 55 hamburgers and 30 hotdogs.
Hope your hungry.

OK, so now who's volunteering to bring the Ro-Tel fixin's? Woody will be really disappointed if there isn't any famous UC Ro-Tel dip! Troll will have to post the recipe, 'cause all I remember is Ro-Tel, cream cheese and sausage.

Who needs a recipe...its Rotel!
O, and by the way (Chuck), I pulled out my double burner stove last night to pack for OMT and it still had your Rotel 'left overs' from last Annual Meeting...

Oh yeah forgot all about Rotel. Maybe 6-10 lbs of it. I'll add it to my grocery list.

We may need a few batches. That stuff disappears fast. PM the recipe and I'll whip some up.

Yeah last time I saw him he had it slopped on a BBQ sandwhich.
Whats next Rotel dipped wings. Or a Rotel Hamburger. Hmmm that sounds good.
Better pick up some extra mountain money.

You need a recipe. Do you not remember the Chuck incident?
Where he threw raw meat in the pot along with everything else and then lit the burner?
There is an art to it.
Wish Malph was around. I know he would get a kick out of seeing 10lbs of rotel.

Well as I recall that night, someone forgot to tell Chuck to cook the sausage first, so it took like 90 minutes to prepare (for safe consumption). So I vote for an experienced RoTel chef.
So says the Safety Officer.

Paypal sent. One more non-UC member driver along with one passenger...
Driver's name is Rance. $35
Passenger's name is Kyte. $15
That's it for the Ktown gang. We'll be rolling in about 2:30 Friday afternoon.

For those of you who know of my epic adventure finding the campground at GSMTR I just -think- I found that I was driving all around McNabb before I diverted to Tellico Plains to take paved roads to GSMTR. (In my defense it was dark and the was quite .)
(this turned out to be a 7 hour trip from Greenville to GSMTR...should have been 3.5)

hey smitty, I'll have that table at the office today. If you can stop by anytime after lunch that'd be great.

I thought you were caravaning with Steen? The map links in the first post have been updated for better directions.
I will also post a couple of roadside signs as you get closer to the campsite area. It will probably just say "OTMT ---->" so keep an eye out for those after you pass the Green Cove gas station/convenience store.
