| here it is fellas...and turns out it's a '93 (sorry for the blur, it was getting dark...)
check out my sweet exhaust...
Another fan...
these are cool little cars. Super responsive, good solid feel, but the best part is the AC works...
this one's got some mileage on it (171k) but is sound and passed NC emissions. The paint isn't great (maaco, not very shiney, lots of overspray) but it's just gotta get me around until the cruiser is done. Needs a few small things but for the most part it's ready to go.
lookin' forward to the parkway! |

| Suh-weet ! !
When the Mister Two came out in 86 or 88 (whatever) Automobile Magazine featured it in its debut issue. Cover story was a comparo with the old Ferrari 308. Mr2 compared very favorably with a car many times it's price.
Only rap I've heard over the years is at extreme conditions when they break loose sideways they will swap ends rather rapidly. Might want to practice that on some gravel roads under controlled conditions until you get the feel. This was Gen 1 of course. You have Gen 2. It might be a little more stable I don't know.
I envy you. I've always admired that automobile.

| thanks guys!
I was looking some 1st gen cars, but they all seamed like projeects, and none had functioning AC. the 2nd generation cars had the same "snap oversteer" tendencies but in '93 they gave the cars wider rear tires and modified the suspension geometry to reduce it. i think it is still and understood characteristic of a mid-engine rwd car though. |

| In my pre-toyota only days I bought a Fiat X19 long enought to get it running good - then sold it. Was a blast to drive.
