so i was up at sonic the other night with some buddies after the gulches and a mexican guy and his costa rican friend pulled in. the costa rican didnt know english but his mexican friend Pepe translated for him. apparantly he has a yellow fj40 in costa rica and spotted mine going down the road and he pulled in for a pic. he told me through his translator all about his fj and how he wheeled it all the time and how he had a hard time finding parts for it. his was a 1972. it was cool how the fj allowed two people of two totally different cultures to have something in common and be able to spark up a bilangual conversation.

when yall gonna come to gulches with me again im out there everyweekend! i was told sunday that i was only the second open/open vehicle they had seen complete heartbreaker from the bottom. i also ran 23, death valley, and palmetto crossing.
