June 23 HAMOM in Travelers Rest

I'm starting on Friday...but HAMOM will start 8 am for bfast @ Classic Cafe in Travelers Rest then wrenching starting at 9 am. If no one will be able to make it to bfast then I'll start wrenching at 8.

Steve, it looks like Taylor will be joining me for the trek. Do you need anything from either ATL or Ralph Hayes? I'll be stopping on the way up to get my piggy wheels.

That's great Heather! I look forward to both of you being here. I have some shoes and wheel cylinders on order from Ralph Hayes but they are supposed to ship them to me this week. I've already paid for shipping so it would probably be a pain to skip the shipping and be refunded. I will take one of the two cherry red and white Piggies from ULC though.

little progress made before HAMOM - got two coats of POR15 on the outer-inner passenger fender. Upper fender test fit perfect. I'm going to work on test fit and POR for the driver's side this evening.

Also, I picked up a rear 40 axle from John aka FJ40-40 today while I'm in Columbia on work. (Thanks John!) I'm going to pull the drums for use on my 55 (I think they should work) and pull the diff out to take back to John.

Your Miata is welcome to camp out at our house. I had planned on getting breakfast at 8 if anyone wanted to go with. If no one says they are up for bfast I'll just stay home and start working earlier. What were you going to do?

I was thinking about coming up early and helping out early, most bang for the buck so to speak. That was, until I saw my PS hoses leaking on my pickup, about 5 minutes after my last post. Looks like I'm gonna have to fix those before loaning the truck to my brother next week. Probably do it on Sat. morning. But, the good thing is that I think I've convinced the wife to stop by on our way home, if y'all are still around, and the baby is happy.

Maybe I can get the truck fixed tomorrow, and I'll be there Sat. I'll post progress as I figure out what's going on... Sorry to keep pullin' your chain...

I won't make it for bfast. We are heading out of here early and stopping at Ralph Hayes for piggy wheels. I don't exactly know when we will make it, but we will make it!

Steve, I'm sorry I won't be able to come. My brother is building a cupola 16x20 in his yard, doing it on evenings and weekends and I owe him a favor from a construction project of a year ago. Its sounds as though you are prepared and helps on the way...the best!
