Yeah, you would have loved it!!! I was going to contact you as I had planned another surf trip to panama, but had to cancel for shlder surgery. my friends are going next week - totally bummed  .

For those who care, not trying to spread rumors...there is a thread on Pirate 4X4 accusing the FJC Trail Team of taking the illegal bypass on lower 2. I have asked a few who were there if they can verify this accusation. I would NOT think that the skill and professionalism I have come to expect from the FJCTT and hope the rumor can be squelched.

Which illegal bypass? I was with them all day? I just posted over there...complete poo slinging going on.
Someone claimed the TT went way off in the woods on the maintenance/ATV bypass, which is simply untrue.

I was with them from the time we left camp that morning, and they never once took the path less traveled. I can't believe the BS that people spread.

No worries...we are watching. Roger told me tuesday that they would be closing Lower 2 this weekend so Rob could work on it. Roger's already at the Ramble, but I know Woody talked to him tues or weds.
Headed out to the Ramble now...hope to see some of ya'll there!

I really can't see how what the trail team did was outside the limits? Where is that "taboo rock?"
Does someone who is on Pirate wanna speak up and let that idiot know that Rob's dad, Roger, was with us that day and there was no way in hell he would have let anyone take an illegal bypass.

I was there too. I watched the Toyota Trail Team go most of the way up the upper part of lower 2. DanKunz was behind them so he can and has already said this. At NO point did the TTT go off trail. If you don't have first hand knowledge don't spread BS.
