Anyone have a front disc axle to sell?

I HATE DRUM BRAKES. My dad and I went out to work on the brakes this morning and get the pig stopping right and froze our butts off for about 2 hrs only to find that the wheel cylinders werent right. Check out the pics you can see that where the line goes into the cylinder is much deeper because of the raised area, they also appear to be a different thread size and maybe a different diameter hole. Totally useless anyone ever seen anything like this before? I'm about to rip the company I bought them from a new one. So anyway does anyone have a front disc axle to sell? See you all tonight at Barleys.

You need to talk to Alex. He knows all about brake cylinders.

if it is the one off the 60 it is going to be a wider axle than what you have under your 55 now........ but that isn't a bad thing, a wider stance would be nice, you just will have to buy some wheel spacers for the rear

I agree with the wide stance, heck, buy my front and rear axle out of the 60

Although, I am hoping no one wants the rear as I am stewing some ideas to do with it.

Just swap the knuckles. A lot easier. Only thing you will reatin I believe is the short side axle out of the pig and clearancing the knuckles.

that is to much work........... I would just swap the axle straight under and throw spacers in the rear.

plus a wider stance will be nice.....pushing the tires out past the body will cut down alot on body damage when leaning on steep rutted slopes like the huge ditch at Mountain Estates

Well I'm leaning toward the 40 axle from MikeSC first just cause that should be the easiest way possible. If that doesnt work then Matt will clear out some space in his garage.
