You were the more talented / speedy team in '03, '04 and '05 too.

And we know how that worked out. Home cooking in '04 stole the game from us (my Tellico rant in '04

) and '03 and '05 Wake WINS...

So, it's a toss up. Statistics and "who should win based on X" aside, we gotta play the game.

I agree that Clemson "should" win but getting you guys all riled up to play at Groves Stadium is lots of entertainment WAY before the tailgate commences...

I just hope you and Richard motivate to share the fun!!

Theres a difference between then and now, we were better every yr but we played down to opponenets. We are done that BS ask UNC how their ass feels and you'll understand, we put our foot in it up to the knee. I am shorting myself, you are barely a D1 team yourself I just dont want to make you cry, plus I have never seen a 12 pack of hoegaarden.

You guys work out your issues and figure out how much you want to travel to see CU get beat down.

My place is open to all. Tons of room, food, drinks and hospitality. Plus, Cruiser transport to the game and back.

That game illustrates why there most likely will never be another SEC national champ... just too hard to get through the SEC undefeated with 4 of the top 10 coming from there. And, as USC showed, a lot of the tier 2 SEC teams can play with the big boys on any given day.

Even if a team can make it through the regular season, then you have to play the championship game... most likely against a top 10 team.

That said... I like UGA's chances against Auburn more now than I did yesterday! There are holes in that defense.

Auburn should drop after last night it was pathetic. You shoudlnt be #2 if you cant beat an unranked team by 2 or 3 touchdowns.

I will not make my avatar a wake logo regardless of the outcome Andy. It would be bad enough having to ride back with you IF we lost. I'm sticking to beer for the bet.

I don't think Auburn played so bad as much as SC played really good....they DID NOT play like an unranked team....I'm not too happy to think what they will be like in a couple of years...dont they have like 10 seniors?
