yeppers I want it. I'll have to show you what i'm talking about but there is a small gasket that looks like its apart of the trim.....thats the piece thats tearing off. Other than that my grill and bezels are fine( well other than the crome missing and nasty yellow showing through).

Fantastic! I learn something new every day. So yes Marshall if you have this size rim I'll take it off your hands. Thanks Bill for the info.

I'm going to Atlanta Sat to pick up a bunch of pig parts but Sunday will be a wrenching day. Alex is planning on coming over and we are going to bleed the brakes on his and my cruiser. My plan is to have the 55 running well and reliable by the end of Sunday so if you want to come by then come on cold beer will be in the fridge.

Pig parts in Atlanta on Saturday????

I am just off I-85, you better not drive past me without stopping by for just a second!

Oh, and where are you getting pig parts?????

Chuck, I also have 3 spare wheels...don't know the size, but they should work. You are welcome to as many as you want.

rear bumper

ok so with the baby on the way I've decided to break things in wants and needs......I need some extended shackles for a little more tire clearance. With that being said I am selling the rear bumper I just picked up from RK. I really love this things, but I need the shackles before I can get out and wheel again. So I am looking for $100 for the bumper. PM me and we'll talk about arrangements for pickup.

D-rings are not included...the pics are when RK had it on his 40. Thanks.

78/79 Disk Brake Front Axle For Sale - Duluth/Norcross GA

Since some of you Upstate Cruisers folks may get to the Atlanta area occasionally....

I have a 1978/79-era complete disk brake front axle for an FJ 40/55 that I obtained as part of my recent FJ 55 vehicle purchase. After much deliberation I have decided to keep the pig stock and repair the drum brakes. I need to recoup some of the cost of the new cylinders, shoes, drums, etc.

The kuckles are the large pattern. Though the differential has not been opened I checked with a couple of sources that say that the axle ratio is 3:70:1 (great for an on-road driver). The axle is in good shape but will need new seals, etc. I need to get it out of my local mechanic's shop and I don't have a place to store it right now - I am asking $500.00 OBO for it.

Call or email me if you are interested. Thanks.

The one with the hook came off the warn that I have, it was never used, I think it is 125'. The other one I have had in the garage for a couple of years...got it in a 40 trade. I have no idea what they go for...make me a less than reasonable offer and one or both can be yours.

The wife's on my case to clean up the yard so, it is with much sorrow (and a few fights with her) I've decided to part ways with my '73 FJ40 hard top. The glass is all there and is in excellent shape. The back lift-type door worked fine when I took it off my cruiser. The gutters are pretty rough but, depending on your skill, they could possibly be fixed. Other areas have some rust while others are in pretty good shape. It has been sitting on my concrete patio for a couple of years now and is currently being used as a protective cover from the weather for one blue baby pool and other misc. yard stuff. $250.00. If interested, call my cell and leave a message. It may take a day or so but I will return your call (864) 430-0220. Thanks, Charlie

I know you said early 70's - but I'm looking for a lower style windshield wiper motor - think mine went bad. I'm the one who donated those Dodge perches - so that'd be a good karma swap or whatever you think is fair .
