Alan - Your credit is good . Pay what you think is fair whenever you want - deduct something for the gas tank you gave me a few years back. Please send Jim an e-mail or PM to remind him - as a backup to my forgetting. Don't forget his Corona .
By the way - Jim says that 4-speed is still sitting in your shop? I don't even know who I sold it to anymore. If it's still there - might be time to donate to the club for a raffle or whatever you think is best. If the guy shows up in the future - he can settle with me. Kinda rude to go thru all the trouble to get it up there and then let it sit for what, 1 year or is it 2.

Ok - you have to use them though. If it's beer - local microbrew is just as welcome. Don't bother sending any money ... If anything, leave some Corona at Alan's for Jim.

Axles, wheels, skirts, and perches are at Captain Jim's waiting for a Mud Ex delivery...
In addition to junk I listed above - also have a set of 15" x 10" aluminum wheels good for a trail truck. 6 lug with 4" backspacing. $100.

a friend in Charleston SC has an 83 fj60 that he is going to get hauled off unless anyone has interest in it or any parts that he has on it. It is missing the two front fenders, transmission, and xfer case. it has a little rust but still has lots of good parts. if anyone has interest let me know and i will give you his number.
thanks guys!

Parting Out FJ60 and nice 31 x 10.50 BFG KO's
EDITED: THE 60 IS GONE
Still have a mint condition hood and a few odds and ends...
Jim and I just picked up a parts FJ60 this morning from a fellow South Florida Cruiserhead. I took the whole thing just to get a pair of FJ60 knuckles, parting out the rest - SC folk get a special price...
Has been partially stripped, but the following is up for grabs.
Like new set of 31 x 10.50 BFG KO's on black wagon wheels - $400 obo (very negotiable)
Good hood.
Jim says the front bumper looks good.
All glass - I don't want to strip any of this - so the value is in my labor unless you can convince Jim to do it for you He says NO.
Rear upper hatch looks pretty decent - some rust around lock cylinder.
Rear hatch rams are good.
Front and rear axles, birfs, shafts, 3rds, etc.
Disc brake parts - mc and booster
Cylinder head, intake, or exhaust (front of engine stripped)
Drive shafts.
Front fenders have rust at mudflaps - but the rest is really nice, straight and would be easily fixed.
Transmission and transfer case.
Can't vouch for condition of anything
Dashpad (grey) and center console look good - althought I've never taken one off?
JIm is going to the MLK run at Tellico - that's the only way any of this is deliverable (for usual Corona fee).
Let me know if you need anything else.

How much for the birfs and inners? Also the rear axle spares as well? I still havent heard anything else about this charleston 60, but I know it needs a tranny and TC. I hope to be at MLK run.

$150 for front birfs and shafts and $100 for rear axles. Havn't pulled yet to verify condition - prolly this weekend.
Tranny and t-case $200.
Let me know if interested I've posted in the regular for sale section - Jim's sitting here racking up all the free Corona he's gonna get for me loading the back of his truck up....

Already got two in line on the dash - will let you know. The center console looked good - almost thought about putting it in the 40, but it'd look outta place. You're first on that - I'll verify condition for ya tomorrow morning...

Well, I checked at lunch - it appears to be perfect. I'm asking the first in line to pay ASAP - if he or no. 2 doesn't like it - it's yours. I really would rather have Jim deliver to MLK versus having to box and drop off at shippers. Keep tabs on the for sale section...
The center console is decent. Dirty, some surface corrosion on the hinge and a hairline crack on the passenger side screw of the change tray. Has a cup holder on attached to it on the drivers side - hows $30 and gets tossed in the back of Jim's truck for the MLK run...

FJ40 rear axle for sale. Set up for spring-over, 4.10 gearing, has disc brakes, stainless braided brake lines, and comes with spare axle shafts. $500
SM465 tranny mated to FJ40 t-case with aluminum adapter plate. Tranny has recent rebuild. Tranny has input collar to be mounted behind FJ40 straight 6 engine. Transfer case is twin sticked, has t-case saver installed, and has AA cross member. The 3-speed bellhousing is included to allow this unit to be mounted to a Cruiser engine. Will also include the .120" wall tube rear driveshaft from the set-up (is long enough for spring over with flipped rear springs). $700
FJ40 front axle. Axle is set up for spring over, knuckles have been cut/turned 16 deg, has armored removable front diff cover, 4.10 gearing with LockRight locker, 4340 cromo inner shafts and birfields, All-Pro spindle stud kit, minitruck knuckles, high steer, FJ60 calipers and rotors, Aisin hubs, U-bolts and plates included. Axle has been recently rebuilt. $1000
The rear axle and tranny/t-case are located in Roxboro, NC and the front axle is in Holly Springs, NC (near Raleigh). No shipping, but we could work out meeting up somewhere.. I'll be in Charleston the 19th & 20th. Buy both axles and you'll have a bolt-on spring over.
Also, Set of (5) 38.5 x 14.5 x 15 TSL/SX, ~50-60% tread, grooved and siped, mounted on 15"x10", 24 bolt beadlocks with recessed valve stems, 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern.
Matching spare on a matching beadlock, 100%, never used (still has the nipples).
$950 takes 'em all

Oh, and I'm also looking to trade my 8274-50 for a low-pro Warn 9500, 9.5, whatever.. Ideal would be a 9500xp.
Prefer an external solenoid pack, but not required.
My 8274 looks damn near new, as the rig is stored indoors. Cable is in good shape as well, since I'm really anal about how it's wound on the drum. (Just ask anyone who has wheeled with me)
I have to swap it because of some new tubework that's going on the front. Don't WANT to, but I really have to.
Or, will sell outright for $850obo
