OK, the house is looking like the tire depot, so it's time to clean out!!

Here's the skinny:

these were on my 80 when i first got it. I cut the sidewall on one of the dayton's after owning them for 1 month so i replaced with a goodyear wrangler because the tire store i was at couldn't get a dayton for at least a week. Then i punctured another. That is why i have 3 tires that are somewhat mix and match. That is also when i purchased the Interco Truxus.

1-Goodyear Wrangler 265/75 R16 with at least 50-60% tread left (pic one and two)
2-Dayton Timberline 265/75 R16 with at least 50% tread left (didn't take a pic but tread depth is basically the same. I can take a pic at your request)

ASKING $25/PER ----PLEASE PIC THEM UP I DON'T WANT TO SHIP OR I CAN MEET SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE (i'm in High Point, NC)

Here's the second set:

Set of 5 used Truxus tires with approximately 30% tread left. (note: one tire is still mounted on my spare but i will remove it as soon as someone wants them). Size is 33x12.50 -16.

My mechanics at Mostly Toyotas called and said they have a customer selling his 62. Here is what I know:

Two tone (gold/silver); 198K; Needs front pads and flush; Needs tires; some bulbs; cracked windshield; usual tear in front seat; looks like it has been wheeled; generally, needs a good clean up . . . .

His asking price: $4500. See pictures for telephone #.

Of course, I have no interest in it, just reporting what I find.

4 - 31x10.5x15 BFG AT's (these are on stock f150 rims and I will not seperate.) 60%+ - $275

4 - stock fj62 chrome rims (minor rust) 15x6.5 worn 31x10.5x15 BFG MT's - $75

1 - Stock fj62 chrome rim (spare) with worn 31x10.5 BFG AT - $20 (free with set purchase.)

4 - FJ60 chrome rims with some rust 30x9.5 Mich. LTX (75% + tread) - $200

4 - Stock 15" Alloy 97 4runner rims (Look kinda like a swirl design.) With worn Sidewinder 31x10.5 AT's (Knock off of BFG AT's). - $125

4 - 33x12.5x15 BFG MT's New style 2 30% 2- 60% These do have some trail scars, but hold air fine. (I will have to measure to get exact %.) $275
- These are mounted on my 62 now and I will sell the rims for another $225 if I can get a good deal on some 35's or 36's w/rims

I was just inherited a ton of old records. I am sure several are worth something. If you collect or are interested let me know.

Around 179,000 miles or so
All time 4wd hi w/ 4 lo option
Selling to fund another potential vehicle purchase - even though its a Heep it has been good to me and I have had a hard time deciding to sell

Good

Goodyear Wrangler tires in good shape
Interior and exterior pretty clean
New front rotors and pads
Has received regular maintenance
v8 w/ lotsa power
Tranny serviced - several seals replaced - new fluid
Southern truck most of its life
Motor is solid and strong
Power locks, power windows, cruise control, etc etc
4wd proved itself very capable in MI snow
Never been off road
Has been either my or my wife's DD for about 4 years

Bad

AC has to be charged in the summer about once every two months to keep very cold air blowing - other wise after about two months the cold AC turns to cool AC
v8 w/ lotsa power gets about 15-16 mpg city driving and I've eeked out 20 mpg on highway trips before
Tranny has a slight slip at times - have to be looking for it to notice - haven't looked into a fix because the slip isn't bad enough to bother me
Spent two winters in MI - some underbody surface rust but not bad
CD/radio player display does not work, new radio/CD player = ~$200 + install
Rear lift gate sometimes does not always stay open - don't know price of repair - haven't bothered to look as I don't use the rear very much
Needs new shocks ~ < $100 at Advance
Auto lock on driver's door does not always lock all the way - seems to be sticking a bit and probably only needs some loosening up - nothing broken that I know of

I have a stock 94 bumper (with chrome strips)...slightly tweaked (1/2" or so) on the face itself (PS), hit a small deer at low speed with it...

So I bought an ARB

soon stock springs will be for sale as well, seems like I heard 4Runner guys have use for them.

4 38.5x16R15 TSLs on 15x10 black steel rims. I dont know what offset. They were on my 1980 LC when I bought it. 30% tread left?? One tire is on the rim, inner and outer bead not set. It went flat after 140miles of interstate driving. I will try to reseat it and fill it up and try to findout why. Quick inspection found no holes or things poking through. Other tires are on the rims, no problems. They are balanced as good as you can balance a 38TSL. Pics this week.
$250 if the one tire is still good. In Starr, SC.

Also X8000i Warn winch, steel cable and roller fairlead. Works great, controller end is not perfect, but works fine. $375.
