'78 FJ40 tub and frame
I have the body tub and frame from a '78 FJ40 I need to sale.
The tub is in excellant condition. There is no rot, and only a couple of small spots that need minor repairs. Included with the tub are the windshield frame, steering cloumn, dash with guages, tranny tunnel, gas tank cover, etc. All of these parts are still in place, not removed. The tub is still bolted to the frame, which is in good condition. The rear crossmember has been removed from the frame, and the front has been set-up for a shackle reversal.
I bought the tub/frame as an unfinished project with intentions of swapping the tub onto my Cruiser, but have since decided not to. This body tub is in too good of condition to be used on a trail truck, especially the way we like to wheel. It would be better suited for a restoration, or a mild trail riding Cruiser.
I'll sell it for $1200, not interested in parting it out. I'll post pics soon. Located in Roxboro, NC.

So I gotta ask...why sell the FJC? Were you not happy with it? Not enough room for Moots?

honestly we had an 80 and the FJ in Colorado and it killed me to sell the 80 during the move. We are at a point now that I am not concerned about mileage due to having a work truck so we want to set up one vehicle for long distance travel (the 100) and get another 80 for a "trail rig".

Looking for a front axle housing for a 78 40. I may need one in a couple weeks. Mine may be bent. Just trying to get some hits. Let me know if you got anything.
Thanks, Wes

I have a SUA one that's been sitting outside since last year. Offered it to a guy in my Rover club - I'll check and see if he still wants it. If not, I could drop off at Tellico next week. Note - I cut off the shock mounts and bump stops for my SOA - but you could easily swap those off your existing....

Warn 9500 for sale - $550 - SOLD.
SOLD.
My uncle is selling his Warn 9500 for $550. He replaced it with a larger Warn winch with air - I don't recall the model. The Warn 9500 for sale was used several times but I beliEve only to pull docks up on land when lake levels had come up. It has a 120' wire cable.
I can get pics for anyone who wants them - please send me a PM. The last time I saw the winch it was in very good condition. My uncle is one of those guys who takes very good care of his toys.
SOLD.

Can you send some pics to toddblosser@gmail.com. I'm interested if it's the one I think it may be.
Thanks. Todd

FJ40 For sale
Working in Asheville today and ran across a 75 FJ40. Great looking rig. Hardtop, winch, totally rebuilt ride. 350 conversion, but still a nice combo dd & off roader. Destiny Auto Sales on Coxe Ave, 828-350-1667 is consigning it for a local real estate agent for the low price of $18k . Too rich for my blood. Have at it.

Packman, its the same one posted a month or two ago by Alex.
This is that same 75 FJ-40 with the Chevy, Volvo Seats, rust runs, diamond plate, no bezel, etc. It's just around the corner from my work. Good to hear that she's dropped the price from $20k to $18k.
Here is the previous pic:

Wanted, jump seats
Anybody out there have any factory jump seats for a 75-78 roll bar.
Apparently the PO (mike hall) put a later roll bar in so the orginal seats won't fit, they were they older ones that attached to the body. That bridges us to another subject anybody need some the older jump seats?

Don't need jump seats but do yourself a favor and check out what ANY 40 jump seats in decent shape go for on eBay. It's downright nutty. You ought to be able to fund your search / purchase if you sell yours there, FWIW...

Turkeypen - right on. That is the rig.
Travis - I have jump seats from a 74 - 40 that need to find a good home. The upholstery is in great condition. There is one spot on the frame that needs attention - welding. Let me know and I can drop them by for you to see one day. My roll bar is curved...not slanted. What distinguishes between old and new style?

That would be great, the 40 is not here at the moment, getting painted.
How much you asking? If they fit, I'd be glad to get them.

Relisting a bunch of stuff... Make an offer if you think my prices are high:
- Underseat Tank from '71 FJ40, light surface rust in a few spots, very usable $50.
- '71 Hood, decent repairable shape, light rust around the center weld (it's a 2 pc) One rust through at the front edge of the hood, No center chrome trim piece - $50.
- F Block with Fan, Alternator, Valve cover, head, Bellhousing,
Flywheel, Clutch, and 3 speed tranny. FREE - If you only want pieces, come pull them and they are yours or Bribe me to pull them for you wth Beer.
- Two FJ40 Gage clusters from '71ish trucks. Both complete, unknown wether they work or not. $25 ea.
- One '71 tub with rust through dammage almost all of the usual places (Rockers, Floors, and Quarters). The kick panels look Good, Front Dash panel looks good, Firewall looks good. Could probbably be pieced together for a trail beater or something. $50
All located in Greenville, SC. PM me if interested.

Mongofj60 -
I hadn't really given it any thought. When you get her back, let's get together and see if they fit. I work off of Haywood and am pretty flexible with my time. They are not in mint condition, but the upholstery is. I'm not unreasonable like some of that stuff floating around on ebay. I'd like to see them back in a rig. I opted for the family comfy rear bench - actually terms of purchase per the wife!
I'll take some pics and get them to you in the meantime
