We are looking into the CARS program to see if he can afford a new car to trade it in with as well before anyone suggests that. However the most he could afford would be a Yaris or Scion XD.

I would def be interested in the headers and exhaust since my exhaust has a nice hole in it and is missing some pieces from when we went up to URE.

I will let you guys know if it comes down to parting it out. However he has found a nice 80 that he wants to buy this weekend and would be willing to let the whole truck go for $1500. 3pits has sent me the first interest in it at this price, but he is waiting on pictures. If he passes on it I will let you know.
If we did part it out, the axles/springs/shackles would be $350 and the exhaust/header would be $350. He just paid $350 for the exhaust 4 weeks ago, so you would be getting a $400 header for free. Plus we paid $350 for the springs used and shackles new, so the axles would be free.

Update:
My brother is buying one of Glenn's old 80's so the cruiser has been SAVED. No crusher for all these parts. I will have pictures up tonight, and hopefully 3pits will have an idea if he wants it or not.
If not, David, you should buy it and put the lift on your 62, the axles under your Jeep and sell the exhaust to ttahara and sell the motor to Scott for his 40. I remember him saying something about wanting to rebuild his motor at one time.
Anyway, once I get some pics to Bob, we'll decide if we are going to tear it down or not.
Thanks,
Jeremy

2F
New Headgasket (2 months ago)
New Head (2 months ago)
New MAF 2 piece Ceramic Headers
New Exhaust w/ Flowmaster (2 months ago)

Let me know of an interest in any parts and I will post a price. If we don't have any interest in parts right away, it will be sold complete and cheap, probably to me .
So post up any interest in parts or pm me an offer for the whole rig. All it needs is a frame and a little rust repair while the body is off for a nice rig.

i know you guys hate reading long threads, but no fine print involved here.
I just didn't have time to remove the tires before I figured you guys wanted to see some pics.
Somebody buy this thing so I don't have to stare at it in my yard for the next 2 weeks.
$1500 obo

It can drive, but I would not drive it to Greenville. The rear spring hanger tore from the frame and pushed the axle back until the tire would touch the quarter. I used a come-along and a chain to pull the rear back to the front and it is still attached to move it around the yard, or on a trailer. If the chan let go at highway speed it would send the tire quickly into thie rear quarter and at best takeout the whole right rear sheetmetal. At worst it would flip and take out the whole vehicle.

Absolutely not. The frame has ripped apart. You could probably strap the axle in place enough to drive it up onto a flat bed.

Are you parting this thing out? You never responded to my PM or post. If not just a simple response will do, so I dont waste your time or mine. I dont care either way.

I've tried to change the title but I can't. It's for sale for $1300. It's not mine and I am way to busy with moving and buying a house.
Mods you can delete this if you want, I don't care. Maybe someone should throw out an offer and I will see if my brother will take it.
