You never know who will be working on your car.

Just today I was thinking to myself that Glenn is......... well..... getting more mature and will not be able to keep up the pace he has set. So, what should he do I thought to myself. Hmmm well I think he should hire a very well trained qualified tech. Thinking about his well being I thought I would take my car to him today and get it services because I do not go to the dealership unless necessary. As I drove in I saw someone that made me feel uneasy about my car being there. I thought to myself that I may need to fin a new mechanical engineer to do my work. he didn't even look like he knew what he is doing. it almost seemed that he should be selling paint or something. I did notice that the work performed should have been a good bit cheaper but I guess Glenn has a lot more overhead now.

I kind of look at it like this, if you want a hamburger and are just hungry you go to McDonalds (Toyota Dealership) if you want a Real Hamburger you go to Bessingers BBQ (Lex-Tech Automotive). You know your going to overpay for the burger @ Bessingers but it tastes so good you don't mind paying extra for a good meal.(Good, honest, dependable service)
Tristan is doing great for a newby, He's catching on quick, I just hope he tightened the OIL drain plug on Mikes PRIUS
bbq boy
Hope the tailight warranty suits you

LOL

Well I met FJZ80 tonight at Bessingers....but no Bessingers were in sight...so we waited in line...got our meals and talked about rigs and the club and the website. It appears ol Josh is a web design guru and is going to tackle our website since after the move to the UC server I have not really had time to do much to it in ways of performance, appearance and just overall GOOD FUNCTION.

So he took the bait and has agreed to either fix what I started or start from scratch...and be the club webmaster. More to follow but he is desperately in lust for a FJZ80....so if you can help him feed this addiction he can sell his Rover and get into a proper wheeling vehicle sooner rather than later....he is ready to buy for the right price he says.

He also is stickered, carded, and took two shirts from me...so think I am down to one or two shirts other than the ones for Doc and Justin Tyrrel that I have not been able to deliver. Doc is a matter of distance but if any of you have contact with Justin Tyrrel let him know I am trying to give him the shirts he paid for...LOL

I think Tristan will do fine. What I like most is his willingness to learn. I too was thinking that Glenn was in need of some help in the shop.

Ron, I'm glad you found a web designer, that frees you up for something else. (?????) After elections.

yeah that is the plan...I would like to stay involved in some event planning and building our relationship with SPARKS more....he should be able to give it the look that the club deserves as I couldn't find time to learn and do it myself lately.

I am glad we might be getting a new web designer. I will stop here because I am in a nice mood today besides Glenn charging me $70 for oil.

Hopefully fzj80 does'nt waste the LCLC stickers on the dead rover. It woul be a shame to have to remove the glass from the dead rover (GHETTO STYLE)in order to retrieve the LCLCstickers.
Glad to see you've got some help with the site Brock. I've been wondering how you had all the extra time to pull off all the extra duty's asked of you as VP.

Remember to respect your elders BBQ BOY as i'm well versed in and experienced in comebacks. I just like to take it slow and easy on youngsters as they seem to wear their heart on their sleeves and get their feeling s hurt easily.

You really will lose the respect of your employees if you talk about them like that. Just saying is all.

Garage
I'll give rover guy a "country of origin" plate in which he can place his LCLC sticker so It'll easily transfer to a more appropriate vehicle.......without messing up the paint........
