60 series Rubithon..
Neat thread and what I liked looking at was the old PIG they have wheeling.... Going by Glenn's this morning to check on Mystique and seeing the Pig sitting in front of his shop reminded me of this thread...
That old Pig is NOT in that bad of condition in my opinion....it needs some good cleaning....some body work...but does not appear to be ate up too bad. They are ugly as hell but something about them makes me say "COOL".....
I guess the Pig is like a BUTTER FACE chick....love the body as long as you dont have to look at her grill.

Some nice 60 series in here too but the Pig with what looks like 40" tires got my attention.

The grill is what people love about these rigs. I didn't like them at first, but now I love them. If times were different, i.e. my rig was done I would have bought that pig that is at Glenns now. For now I will have to wait, but I too will have a pig with 40's one day, or atleast 38's.
Nice thread, looks inspiring to trek out there one day. We should plan an expedition for the club one day. Make it something in the longterm so we have a shot at making plans to make it. Like Katemcy, or Moab. Or maybe even the one held in the Missouri mountains. Rubithon is probably a long shot unless we shipped our rigs out there.

I'm ready to spend some money I don't have on modding my '62 expedition style.....Not necessarily rubi/rock style but more of an overland expedition style......

for now will just keep my regular tent....maybe RTT in couple years but the Fj60 is a little top heavy as well. If I build a drawer system then will have enough room to sleep on top mostly. LOL

Make sure you leave a cutout in the rack for one of these.

As long as it's running.
When he mentioned the curtains I instantly thought about the old VW buses with RV hookups and a roof mounted A/C unit.
If you guys want some drawers made you should let me put you in touch with the local guys that build all our laminated cabinets for schools and medical buildings. I saw a guy on here that was building them out of the same material, but might be cheaper to go through someone like him since he has done the R/D already.
If I had a wagon, drawers would be on the top of the list, right after lift and tires.
