Motor Drop Day....

I am going to be dropping the V8 in the 40 on fri. 7/10 and sat. 7/11 if anyone wants to join in. If a few people decide to show up, I will smoke or grill something and provide all the refreshments.

I will be spending fri. afternoon preping the shop and painting the firewall, and I should have a friend showing up sat. am to offer his welder so I can weld the 2 motor mounts to the frame. From then on it should just be a bolt on afair. I figured if I did it by myself I would probably just get the motor mounted and stop. If I had enough people there I could probably get it back running and ready to go. My goal is to have it ready by the shrimp boil, so if others want to work on there rigs we would have time.

Let me know in the next week or so if anyone is interested and I will plan accordingly.

It takes 1.5 hours to get there from MtP, and about an hour from Florence.

Edit: I just noticed that the monthly is the same day. I guess this might put a damper on things.

Jeremy

Belmont i've been repairing vehicles for 25+ years and it never goes as smoothly as you think when altering/modifying a vehicle. Always anticipate unexpected issues when altering a vehicle. Your welcome to use the shop and equipment for the installation, even though i realize the rig is in MB the offer still stands.

Thanks for the offer Glen. If my stuff was here I would definately take you up on it. I have been repairing this truck for 5+ years so I know what you mean about things not always going smoothly.
