I don't need to work on my 62, as it is all small stuff that I can do at night.
I do think we have a full daay, though.
The last time I removed a set of original springs, I ended up cutting the pivot bolts. That can take some time.I think w/ a lift though it will be faster.(easier)

OCD, if you bring the old master cylinder with you maybe we can remove the gasket from it, emory cloth it and put it on the existing master cylinder in case i don't have the correct size here at the shop.

Tristan, if you make it Saturday to the HAMON, i have an external oil pressure gauge we will connect to the 40, then we'll be able to read true engine oil pressure.

I know we've got several guy's coming from out of town and the times i'm sure will differ when they arrive arrive, in a perfect world i would like to tackle the simple jobs first, such as lockers inop for greensemen, the oil pressure for tristan, grinding and welding for Brock, the diff vent for ocd, as i only have 2 lifts. The master cylinder for ocd can be done in a flat stall, bbq boy's knuckle job will pretty much consume a lift for the day.(BBQ FOR LIFE OR MAYBE JUST A YEAR OR EVEN A DAY) I would like to start Jasons lift installation after we've tackled the other jobs that will require the second lift. I've got another technician coming, that worked for me at the Lexus shop. Whether i can convince him to jump in and help is another story.
I'll jump in and help with the locker diagnosis issue and then probably move on to helping mike with the knuckles and let Dbenke have the rest and then help finish up the remaining after Dbenke has to leave.
I promise guys, i'm not a micromanager, just like to have a plan of action. If anyone (dbenke) has any other ideas Please feel free to interject.

I've got the jack stands. It will be so much faster to cut, grind and weld on the lift, rather than working on the floor. I guess we'll treat it as first come first serve, kinda like at Bessingers BBQ Drive thru.

I plan to be there around 8ish....Do I need to bring my metal cutting chopsaw saw?
If we can tighten that big nut on the end of the master then bleeding/adjusting will be a quick (hopefully) job.....my butt is tired of gripping the seat every time I need to stop.....
Looks like a very full day.....

I don't want to take up the lift all day. it isn't fair to the others. Do you have any other suggestions Glenn?

Mike, are we still doing the clutch also??? Yours will be most of the day.
It's a help "A" member, I just we haven't bitten off too much for one Saturday.
I really don't mind working on several rigs, but I don't want to abuse Glenn either.
Glenn, what do you need me to bring.
I'll bring my own hand tools, but anything you think we might need that I have, just let me know.

No. I am not doing the clutch. I guess I can do the front end another time. I too don't want to take advantage of Glenn and take away from other members

I can cut myself...just need Jims welder to tack some cut steel back over when done...and then got 2lb sledge to hammer it around the radius so we can tack weld it all the way before running a bead.
I can paint and reinstall mudflaps later myself....
Then I am available to help anyone else that needs a strong back and little technical skills......

Mike, don't worry we'll have you on and off in no time, they'll be plenty of time for everyones repairs. Just bring it as early as possible, we'll have it disassembled in no time, the time consuming part is the cleaning up of all the components (thats where you'll come in)

OK - so I strolled in Lowes and tried to find a plug (30a 250v) to fit the receptacle in post 1 but they
didnt have one.....Checked Home Depot too.....
Here are the options:
If Glenn has a plug he can take off something we can put it on my extension cord to power the welder
If Glenn has an outlet with a dryer outlet configuration
We unwire glenns receptacle and wire in one I bring that will work with my plug
Someone who is coming has a plug and will bring it
We go somewhere in Charleston in the morning and buy a plug

Sorry for the late notice but I was up all night and severly dehydrated so trying to get some water down now.
My apologies to everyone and have a good and safe HAMOM.....wish I was there. :(
